    Works on my Macbook Pro out-of-the-box. No need to install drivers or format. Very small which makes it easy to carry in a laptop bag. And gets its power from the USB cable - that's one less power cable to carry around.

    purchased this portable hard drive for my daughters Mac Pro, it is time machine capable which is fantastic. Her mac Pro crashed during the school year and thanks to the Geek Squad they got her up and running again but her data was lost. They suggested this portable hard drive as a security measure just in case anything happens again
