I've been looking for a portable hard drive with at least 1TB of space for my Macbook Pro 13", and the Seagate Backup Plus Slim is already pre-formatted to read and write files with a Mac system. Great price with the Lyve software included to access videos and picture from any of my other devices!

Easy to set up and use for both Mac and PC. Used it to transfer files from my old PC to new Mac with no problems

Hard drive is a little pricey for what it is but it looks great with the Mac line and it works at a fast pace.

These were 2 great gifts I gave to friends. I usually buy Lacie as a Mac user, but I'm a power-user and need high quality rugged version (although much larger). I wanted to buy them the same as mine but the size, features and price couldn't make the decision hard. They both enjoy the backup feature for their Macs using Time Machine not the OEM software thats included.

I found it really useful if you have a mac since it works with time machine. Also, the design is really nice.

It works for what I needed and as best as it could. I don't know if this works on non macs but oh well

This external drive is awesome. It works great with my Mac, is small and easy to transport and holds a lot of my stuff. I highly recommend this. Oh it's reasonably priced to boot!

I was new to a Mac and bought this for my back up. I was still learning the Mac and had trouble getting this set up. Called Seagate customer service for help. Talked with a real person in the US immediately! He was super helpful and very nice. I am all about customer service and they were tops!

Formatted perfectly to my mac book and allowed me to free up some much needed space on my computer.

For 1tb backup solution this is a great value for a mac and with a teenager she is glad it matches.

This externally hard drive is super portable and could fit in my back pocket while still holding 1 TB of storage. Got this to go with my new Mac and love it so far! Great value!

Hard disk is very light and portable. USB 3.0 is very fast. I had to transfer close to 200GB of data (with one file close to 153 GB in size) and this hard disk got the job done right.

Our iPad was loaded with photos and videos. It was simple to plug this into our MacBook Pro and with the cloud, send all our files to this hard drive. It's small and convenient!
