I bought this to go with my new MacBook Air and it is great! I store all of my pictures, music, backups, and school work on it and I couldn't be happier! You can also format your drive for PC or Mac which is a big plus if you want to share or transfer files!

it was part of the bundle i bought with my mac and i am glad to have it havnt really used it yet but it is always good to have some extra memory space. and an external hard drive keeps my internal one from bogging down which keeps the computer running fast.

It's fast enough to do a complete initial time machine in under an hour and small enough to fit handily in my laptop bag. I prefer to use disks like these for Time Machine as it makes restoring the system easier than using a NAS type Time Machine device.

We have a MAC laptop with a small hard drive. We used the external drive to transfer the Operating System onto and therefore it became the primary drive, allowing for much more storage. So far, very happy with this inexpensive fix.

This drive is so convenient and useful. It does not take up too much space on my desk and that is a definite plus for me. I am also able to store large amounts of data and not have to fill up my storage on my Imac.

This is my fourth external drive by Seagate that I've purchased. They are reliable, quick and plug and play. I use mine to store my programming projects on. Worth the money and Seagate is a good solid product.

This hard drive is discreet and thinner and shorter than most modern cell phones. Nice if you travel a lot with your laptop. My macbook pro only has 125 GB and this 1T really saves me with my video editing.

Was looking for something small yet had a large capacity for by backups. This drive works perfectly for my Mac Time Machine. It was easy to install and I have had no problems. Was able to retrieve data easily.

I purchased this to store all my old pictures and videos from my old laptop and current phone. Let me tell you, this is certainly worth the buy. It's super easy to work with. However, since the software needs to be installed in it you only get a little over 900mega but that is still such a steal.

I recently purchased this drive after my previous Western Digital failed. It is packaged as a Mac compatible drive that supports time machine for archiving your data. It definitely does the job.

I bought this hard drive on sale, but even full-price it's a great deal. Seagate is the brand to get. It's light, very compact, plenty of storage space. Looks good too. I'm pretty satisfied with it.
