Great product for my macbook, I use it to save my photos and this is great for saving my art work. I prefer to work from this, especially when there are ransomware viruses out there and there is a lot less worry about my data being corrupted. Highly recommend.

Always afraid I will lose everything. Keep backup on two externals. One went bad so had to get another and since I have MacBook Pro I wanted something easy. This did the job. Reviews, price and availability cinched the buy. Plug it in and put my mind at ease.

I used this external hard drive as a Time Machine Backup for my Mac. It's perfect. it allows me to backup my entire Mac plus have tons of left over space to use it as a secondary drive where I can dump files that I don't want/need on my computer. No regrets purchasing this.

I needed to back up my phone and computer but the backup programs I used in the past were hard for me to use. The Seagate Backup plus Slim is as simple as plug in and the system does the rest. You need a cloud account. I recommend this backup system.

Easy to setup, very quiet, fast access time - seems to be there is no delay. Hard disk is connected to IMac and is used for daily backups.It works fine, it reads and writes files very quick. What good about this model is that it has fast access.I used to have some external drives where it takes couple seconds before they respond first time, but this one seems to be much faster.

I like this hard drive, work well for now. I would recommend ppl to buy this product.

Works great as a backup for all our home movies. Pairs nicely with our 4 year old iMac.

I literally took it out of the box, connected it to my laptop, and transferred files!

So far - the short time I've used this hard drive it's worked flawlessly. It seems to vibrate more than I expected but finds the files effortlessly. However I made the mistake of buying the Mac version which will work on both a PC and Mac - the problem is that my smart TV did not recognize it.. Word of wisdom - my the PC version if you plan to use it with a smart TV.

This is second backup drive I've used over the years and this was easy to use and reliable. Seagate seems to have a good reputation and I don't have anything bad to say about it - so all good!

The Seagate Slim Back up for Mac 1TB External USB portable 3.0 hard drive was easy to install, easy to use, small, slim, has manual and auto capacity and doesn't take a lot of space on your desktop. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.
