I think if you need speed this isn’t the answer. This product is good because it does what it was created to do.I just think that most people will get better value out of a SSD in todays market.

Reliable, Fast and Quiet!

I decided I was going to change things up and buy a WD Black instead, this time around. I was very disappointed. The WD was loud and slow. I returned it and bought this, I couldn't be happier. Its fast and doesn't make noise and my last one lasted nearly 10 years, so I expect great things from this!

It's the hard drive Goldilocks would choose if she had a computer in that fairy tale. It always hits the sweet spot on price, reliability, quiet operation, power usage, access speed and everything else. Every time I ventured out of my safe zone I had a drive fail, so I am just gonna stick with Seagate from now on. This is the drive you want. Just buy it.
