I had to do a special re-formatting to make it FAT32 friendly for the device use of a converter from analog/digital recording device for TV recordings. Look at the Specs. for your device you will use this for. Seagate is a very reliable brand.

I had an older external drive that was outdated and not enough space. This drive was very easy to use and much more storage than I need. It was reasonably priced.

I was able to partition my drive for my time machine and still use the other side for my graphic works. Would buy it again. No, I am not being paid to say this. If this product was bad it would get a bad review. I won't lie for any company.
