Great addition to my set up. Provides about 18TB after everything is said and done. More than enough space for any video editing and gaming I plan to do.

This drive works great! It's fast for an external drive. Plenty of storage space!

Really well-priced per-tb. I needed a large bulk storage solution and this Seagate 20tb drive fit the bill. Speeds are good, and it has held up for 3 months so far without issue. The drive does make some noticeable accessing sounds under normal use that I wish were a bit quieter, but that's a really small issue that I have since adapted to. Highly recommended!

so far ok. the price was good, the amount of storage really helped me backup files. What I don't like is the hard drive is not instantly available, even though it is connected beforehand. and it takes 5-10 seconds to start, and in that 5-10 second the entire computer freezes up. I recommend this ONLY if you are using it for backup. Not active use.

I am shooting a documentary and need two hard drives, one for the videographer and one for me to add archival footage. I appreciated how easy it was to format and use, especially for someone with intermediate video skills. Also for the amount of storage the price could not be beat.

This is an excellent drive. It has a massive amount of storage space. The drive makes a little bit of noise when you retrieve files from it, but it's not too bad. The only bad thing is it requires you to plug in the drive, so you will need a nearby power outlet.

Does the job! This HDD offers reliable storage with consistent performance. It handles large files smoothly and provides good value for its price. Installation is simple, and durability feels solid. While not as fast as SSDs, it remains a dependable choice for backups and everyday use for users needing affordable mass storage capacity.

Works as described. Standard HD features and stores as spec'd. No issues with backup or downloading. Currently usingn as a server backup drive

Mechanical, large, but reliable so far. Sometimes slightly slow, loud, mechanical hard disk drive platter reading. Retained the files I copied so far (not even a month) so that's good! Has power adapter like old style external drives from 2000's

very reliable, although a little loud when loading, no issue yet. i'm writing this in comparison with the WD portable drive

Great drive! Solid storage at an affordable price. Does make sound because of the spinning drives but it’s not loud.

Exactly what you need for large capacity storage, also reliability is the principal reason for this over the others brand.

So far this is a good back-up hard drive for my photography business. I use two of these to back-up my photography jobs, as an “A” and a “B” set of drives. These hard drives are a little noisier than the lower capacity drives (8 TB) that I’ve had in previous years. These 20TB drives I hope to last me around 4 or so years for backing ip my work. I’ve used Seagate hard drives and had good luck with them for 15 years and I trust they’ll continue to do so. Note: I’m an Apple computer user, so I erase the drives before using them and don’t have any experience with some of the added features of the drives.

Using it to back up files between Mac and PC. Works seamlessly between the two systems, just plug and play. Speed is as expected for a HD. Got it on sale when it was $230. Only suggestion for improvement would be when it’s vertical it can vibrate a little when the disks are spinning full speed. Enhancing the vibration dampening for future versions would be nice.

Works well enough. Using it as a basic backup drive. Fast enough and seems good enough.

20 TB is a must own. Easy upgrade option when you need more space. No hassle just plug and play.

Fast speed and great storage, slight delay when not in active use.

This is an excellent external drive. The price is right for the amount of storage and it worked great right out of the box. Speed is good too.

This is a very stable hard drive. I needed a hard drive that could hold a lot of video files which are huge. This handles them really well.

So far so good. They are Seagate BarraCuda ST20000DM001 drives. I've got 2 set up with ZFS mirroring in a sort of RAID setup with a Jetson Nano as a interim NAS with Samba sharing. Seems fine until I upgrade my raspberry pi from a 2 B to something newer (32bit OS cannot do RAID on such large drives)
