    I have several portable HDD units with a total capacity of 12 TB, but since I have many pictures and videos I was getting out of free space to cover my actual and future needs. This HDD is perfect to me. It has enough space to acomodate all pictures and videos I already have, and give me lots of free capacity, so I will not worry for sometime. For the sale price I paid, it was a terrific deal. I'm very satisfied.

    Works great. Is very quiet most of the time. You can hear when it is writing to disk, but it's intermittent- for me, only a couple of times per day, since I use it for backup. Excellent for peace of mind as my backup disk for Time Machine on Mac.
