Great hard drive, works as it should.....for now.... im sure it will last a few years. Was easy to install, and upload windows and other things.

It does what it says it does. Installation was easy although you must provide your own SATA cable as this does not come with one.

My issue with this drive was with Seagate, not BestBuy. Connected drive with SATA adapter to two laptops and 1 desktop. Drive not recognized. Chats with 5 technicians at Seagate provided no resolution. Phone calls did not help. Seagate states their drives are formatted exFAT. This drive was not formatted at all. Similar experience with a 2TB Seagate drive, same model. Prior experience with Seagate drives has always good. Hence my recommendation. Hopefully they did this issue.

Works like a hard drive. Can't really say if it's any faster than a regular HDD. Just wanted something to add to my 256GB SSD on my laptop. Would have done the 2TB if it was available. Easy to install and works great so far.
