When I bought my PS4 years ago, I never thought about the time when I would fill up 500 GB of storage with game files, especially since I don't really play anything more than the yearly MLB The Show games, Gran Turismo, and anything Star Wars or Transformers related. Fast forward a few years and that's exactly what happened. I went to check my monthly update for Gran Turismo Sport only to find that I didn't have enough room left on the HD. Went in to my local BB and spoke to one of the gaming gals and she recommended this product. My gosh was it easy to set up. Plug it in, format, and move files. Now I have several hundred GB free on my PS4, and my 2 TB drive has even more free!

We were looking for something simple to install and provide extra storage for our library of ps4 games. Boy this met all our needs and was basically plug and go!

Easy to use, perfect for storing ps4 games on the ps5. Does not hinder any graphics, slightly slower load times but with 2TB of storage it’s easy to look past that.

We ordered the PS4 portable hard drive online and it arrived quickly and well packaged. It was easy to install. Now my son can download all his games and play them when he wants. The hard drive came with everything needed. Just plug and play.

It is a great and simple way to have more storage all you have to do is just plug and go super simplistic. Ans has a ton of room for all the games you could imagine I bought one for me ajd my brother and we both are super happy

Works as it should. Easy to set up. And I finally have some space for some more of my games that I had to delete thanks to c.o.d. Lol. Just wish it was available years ago, so I would never had to delete in the first place.

I bought this external hard drive mainly so I could play Call of Duty: Warzone. The game file is several hundred megabytes and was taking up so much room on my PS4 that I could not run any other games on it. This hard drive is plug and play. The PS4 detected it, asked if I wanted to format it, and once formatted, I was able to download and run Warzone directly from the hard drive. I’ve been using it for several weeks now and have eliminated the “Copying Additional Data” step that was taking up to 30 minutes each time I loaded the game. There’s no lag and I’m able to play Warzone without issue. It’s working very well so far and leaves me with plenty of space to download and run other games from it. Would definitely buy again if needed!

Works great and is the Best Buy at Best Buy. It works wonderful with PS5 storage being low. I put all my PS4 games in the External USB drive and still have plenty in my USB memory. I am a very satisfied customer.

Stores games well but a bit dissapointing that you cannot play ps5 games on it, just store them

Great extra storage solution for your ps4 . It’s a quick connect and go - if does most of the work on its own. If you plan to purchase digital games this gives you plenty of space and an easy menu to keep it all organized .

My PlayStation 4 had run out of space so I looked up what I could do to extend the memory and found this device. I went and bought it and works amazing! What I later found out was that it does not need to be this PS4 branded device in order for it to work. ANY external portable hard drive works with the PS4. The machine just formats it to work with it. I know I am naive for falling for this trick, but I have now learned. Don’t pay the extra 5 dollars for the PS4 sticker.

Holds many many games and is very fast. Easy to transport and use on any other PlayStation

The seagate ps4 extended storage game drive is a perfect product for my ps4. It works famously and there has not been any problems with it since my purchase. I love this product and I would definitely recommend it to other people.

My nephew had to constantly delete games off his PS4 in order to download others. Very easy to connect and install as extra. Super easy to move game data from system to storage.

After researching info on the PS5 I found it that putting PS4 games on this drive will be compatible and playable on the PS5. Not to mention it creates more room on your PS4 or in my case my PS4 Pro. I was going to go with a 4TB but for me I just don`t play that many games so the 2 TB was sufficient.

Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, he said it worlds great! Definitely helped clear up some space and add some. Now he can play Cold War & Warzone to his hearts content. He has a PS4 worked perfectly.

Bought this like most, because there isn't much room for games. Followed directions and it started right up. Moved games over to it and worked great. Only have had it for a short time, so don't know of any long term issues yet.

I lacked the amount of extra storage space on my PS4 to do any big updates on my console. I had already whittled my library down to two games and it still wasn’t enough room to update Call of Duty Warzone. Having the extra storage room of this external hard drive has been a game changer, literally! I redownloaded all of the games in my library after I installed the hard drive and I still have the extra room I need for updates! It’s awesome!

I got one previously for a normal PS4, added considerable space. Then upgraded to a PS4 Pro and through circumstances needed another one. Adds twice the space, able to hold many games. Easy to use and worth the price.
