I use HDDs in my machines for downloads, large files, and general long-term storage. This particular HDD is of superior quality, definitely meets my expectations. It’s also noticeably quieter than other HDDs I’ve purchased in the past. I recommend this product!

Delivery was very fast it installed easily and is working very well. Huns quietly and seems reliable so far.

Replaced a failed drive in my NAS. This was the best priced drive that I was able to find on the Internet for an 8TB Ironwolf drive. With the prices of hard drives through the roof it was nice to be able to buy at the best price from a known reliable vendor with delivery to my door.

Product delivered as expected, well-protected. Both drives started up and initialized/formatted without any issues. I was surprised at how silent they were - other reviews suggested they might be noisy.

Seagate Ironwolf 8Tb. Excellent drive for a NAS. Runs quiet, temps stay steady, even under load. These are hard to come by, so get them if you can!

It's a great solution for storing a bunch of data on a separate device that you won't be accessing to often.

If you are going to go for an old school HD, this is a reliable and reasonably fast drive for the technology.

The Seagate - IronWolf 8TB NAS Internal Hard Drive with rescue data recovery is an awesome way to increase space in a best buy build your own computer if you are an avid photographer and take tons of photos!

I got 2 of these for my Truenas Plex server and after several of use months they’re fantastic. They’re noticeably louder than the WD 4TB Red NAS drives I had before, but from my understanding that’s par for the course for larger drives. Read, write speeds are more than sufficient for a Plex Server using the ZFS filesystem and ZFS Cache.

Using this in an Asustor NAS. It works as you would expect, plug and play. It's SEAGATE, and so you know it is just going to work!

I had to return first one because it was very loud and I worried it will fail eventually. It kept spinning none stop. I went to the store and got the replacement. This second one was working quite and good. I have used Western Digital and Seagate HDD. I noticed Seagate has better quality and lower failure rate. This Ironwolf HDD is fast and good. Istallation is easy and simple

Perfect for building a NAS. These drives are big in storage and cheap. For the quality. I use them for a home media server and they are more than fast enough for 4k cloud streaming.

Running 4 of these in a RAID5, it does get pretty loud but nonetheless they perform just as expected.

I've used Seagate drives for many years, and only one had an issue with bad sectors. I purchased two of these to be used as data drives in two SSD-based PCs. The drives are fast, quiet, and they have (hopefully) the IronWolf reliability on which many servers depend. Only slightly more expensive than their desktop counterparts, these drives are definitely worth it to me.

Been running in my OMV NAS for a while now. Powered up 24/7. Fast for a HDD and not too loud. Very good value when you can catch it on sale.

My best buy yet! I got them for super cheap. I have a reliable Raid System now. I got a great deal and they work great and are pretty fast! Easy to Install.

Great hard drive 6 months no issue in synology NAS

I've had a long history with Seagate drives over the last 15+ years that have kept me too cautious. While the failure rate of larger capacity drives are way lower compared to their infamous 3tb series, thes Ironwolfs are incredibly fast and sustainable. If you're concerned about lifespan (read-write cycles of the drive over a lifetime) check out Backblaze's block (cloud backup company) as they publish some interesting statistics based on their own research and industry-wide studies.
