working great, wish they are a little quiet

I was looking for HDDs for my Ugreen NAS, bought a Seagate Ironwolf Pro 20TB when on sale, but DOA, so returned it to BestBuy and tried to find a replacement. The price of the 20TB went back to the original, eventually I settled with the 16TB. I bought two 16TB for my NAS, so far they have been working great. It's a bit loud though when the hard drives are working.

Best buy (no pun intended) I have made in years!

I got this hard drive to go in my nas so I could create my own streaming service to save money. It works great and fast. It's a small price to pay for the amount of money I'm saving getting rid of all my streaming services.

Ordered 4 of these beasts for my Syba 8 bay DAS; they're working great! I now have enough space for all my stuff to be organized neatly across 8 unique star-trek themed partitions :)

This is a nice, high quality drive for long term storage, and decent read write speeds.

Cheaper elsewhere

The drives are amazing, but BestBuy sells them for $100+ more than anywhere else so buy them elsewhere.

2x seagate 16 TB drives non functional at receipt.

Got the drive it didn't work. Sent it back to Seagate and they returned another drive and it didn't work. In the interim I bought another drive Western Digital 16TB drive from another vendor and it worked. Im about ready to take the second drive to a Best Buy store to see if they can make it work as opposed to me. Returns to Seagate are at the buyers expense so this is getting to be even more expensive. A terrible product.

Product is non functional on arrival. Purchased "new" and supposedly shipped as new by Best Buy. Am thinking they sent me defective / used products.
