Compared to the others that are available in the store, this drive was the best for the size and form factor (2.5in) outside of being a solid state. Seagate has a great product and warranty. I have personally never had issues with any seagate drives but have had issues with other brands. Overall, works like it should and had no problems. It was also on sale at the time so that was a bonus. 5 stars.

Good drive as replacement for one that went bad in laptop. No issues. Installed quickly and dell laptop found it right away.

The installation was fast and easy. All you do is take the old one out, put the new one in and the PS3 will walk you though the formatting and installing of the software needed. You do of course need to back up your game save data to a flash drive BEFORE removing the old hard drive. This drive works perfectly and my friends PS3 went from 40GB to 500GB for a great price and very easily!

HardDrive was going bad, replaced, works great, plus added additional space. My only issue was I am not an excellent user of the computer and was not asked about backing up the saved items on my computer before they replaced the hard drive, this cost me the purchase of an external hard drive and approximately $60 for the to take the stuff off my old hard drive. They should have advised me and I would have downloaded on a disk and reloaded on my new hard drive. Think the policy should be to inform all customers about backing up information needed before they do the hard drive replacement, not after the fact and the customer gets home and no Word Documents or Notes. Cost an additional $120.00 that didn't need to be spent, especially on a fixed income. Otherwise the Geek Squad has always done a excellent Job

I don't regret buying it for a second and would recommend it to my friends.

Original hard drive in 2007 Macbook died. Purchased this to replace old hard drive. It was easy to install and set up. Didnt have to break the bank to buy it. It has twice the capacity of original. Mac book is running great now. I have no complaints.

I used this to replace a failing drive in a clients laptop and it worked just fine. I was replacing a 7200rpm drive and this works just as fast as the old one. Probably the newer firmware and larger cache size make this work better than the 4 year old drive. Either way, I will continue to use these as the need arises.

I do computer repair, so I am always buying hard drives and other products for Best Buy. I got this hard drive for a client who needed a new hard drive due to a crash on his old one. It worked out great for him, and I have yet to have anyone come back about a Seagate drive.
