easy to use for a beginner. good storage capability

I love how much my faster my laptop is when I had this installed. This was triple the memory compared to what I purchased with the laptop. I don't have to use any flash drives now. I love music and now have enough space. This was the best purchase.

Everything about this drive and its installation were as expected. No surprises. Performance was as expected while it was with me. Now it's gone out into the world on its own and I may never know if it makes it into a long and productive life.

Booted the OS win 7 just fine no hiccups. Smooth install. After install a few things. Not sure if the laptop GPU has a problem or not, But the screen does have a slight lagging when switching threw screens. "overlapping" PHY ram 30%, Core 8%.

Installation was easy. Old drive was also a Seagate 500 GB that suddenly failed while I was on vacation. I hope this one gives me a longer life span. The old one had less than 5000 hours.

I love Seagate products. I've only had this HD installed for a few wks now but so far so good. My ext HD, the back up plus, has worked wonderfully and I've had it for over 2 yrs now.

I have bought Segate products in the past and to me a great product. I have not had any problems. I ha e external hard drive for my laptop and my desk top.i always have a backup plan.
