I like it. This 2TB Seagate drive is nice and slim, higher capacity drives are thicker. The USB 3 interface is fast, faster than the drive can actually deliver given its mechanics. If you want faster transfers (and sometimes I do) get an external SSD. If you're going to be rough with your external drive, get an SSD because it has no moving parts. Otherwise, hard drives still have lower cost per terabyte.

Great product! I owned two of these a 1TB, and a 2TB. Both sync with my MacBook Air and Windows!

Nice little portable hard drive that has stored all the info from my old desktop and two of my laptops. Works fast with my laptop with the 3.0 drive. Works as expected with the older models too! It can be a little more modern trendy design but for the price you cannot beat it!

Bought this little unit to backup my new MacBook Air. Seems to be working nicely...however you never really know until your computer fails and you need to restore it. Fingers crossed!!

I needed to move my files from one computer to another. This worked and it's red which is nice as everything is usually black. Not that there is anything wrong with black, but the red stands out like a monkey in a supermarket.

I love this hard drive A lot of space. It's fast when when uploading or download files to the HDD. I already have around 1000 photos and it barely has taken any space. Easy to use. Straightforward. Been using for a while now. It works perfectly. Since my laptop has small HDD i cant store many things in it. I right away use plug this external hard drive and make space in my laptop. Nice color too.

Reliable portable storage for my desktop backups. The software is easy to use. In my experience Seagate has always manufactured a great product. 2TB is plenty of storage space for home backups.

This external HD was a gift for my wife. She is very interested in genealogy. This device will give her plenty of extra storage space for her data.

Works without problems, led indicates its connected and has plenty of storage. Transfer rates was a breeze and simple as plug and play.

Excellent storage system. Easy to use. Even features a backup app for the computer so you don’t have to plug it in each time.

Set it up as a plain external drive. Works great for dragging and dropping files to archive. Primarily using it for media storage to prevent loss in case of an internal HDD failure on my desktop PC.

Very nice, fast, lightweight, petite hard drive. Plug and play. I though the color would be all around for those that care. The colore is only on top, but not that important to me. It's still nice looking, though I bought it for useability, not aesthetics. I got a red and a blue. I bit more expensive but I trust getting a known, long-time hard drive maker for such an important thing as a backup. It doesn't matter how fast it is or how pretty if you lose your data!

I bought this Seagate 2TB external hard drive for my daughter because she does movie editing and her computer was full. I highly recommend this external hard drive to everyone.

I’ve owned more than a few of this brand and I’m never disappointed in the quality and user friendliness of them. It’s just easy.
