This is a great backup for my files. Makes it nice to be able to access it on various computers in our home. Also, nice to access when away from the house.

While the set up was easy, the personal accounts were not easy and in fact impossible, the S drive quit working after a few weeks. It does allow storage in a general account. So I should be thankful for that.

Really happy with this device. Storing all my photos, video streaming and gopro movies on it. Tons of free apps to work with it.

Does everything it says and works wonderfully. I couldn't ask for a better network cloud drive.

obviously its a ton of space, using it on the network saves all our personal hard drive space.

I was able to easily setup the NAS drive and backup my computers and mobile devices.

Liked it don't love it. Transfer one way or the other takes entirely to long. It should have come with a usb to usb cable to connect and transfer files. 2tb to transfer took me almost 3 days had to over wifi and I have the fast speed available from cox. After transfers you have to reboot it or it won't be seen by any device your trying to stream files to... Frustrating

After a little workarounds with getting the sea gate to work with OS X we have been able to see it as a drive in the computer and access it on the net. I especially like the attached USB port the big negative is the interface and file management tools are weak. It works best with a 3rd party file manager

Capacity is good but never seemed to get a dependable connection from wireless pc.

Not the easiest to get working when you have a ton of data, but it works well.

This is the worst purchase I ever made. It took me three days and absolutely no help from Seagate to get my PC to recognize this drive. Once it was recognized, there was absolutely nothing I could do with it. It was returned. I subsequently found out there was a lawsuit against Seagate for this absolutely worthless product.

This Seagate was a dud - it just did not work. I returned it for a refund - thanks Best Buy. I've since bought a Western Digital My Cloud, which Best Buy Geek Squad says is a better product. More on this later.
