It worked well for the first three months, but it accidently stoped working one day while I just stored it in the locker. For both tablet and smartphone, this drive will be a good extra storage for frequent access.

If I could figure out how to use it via Wireless, device came w/ minimal instructions...

Needed to have access to documents movies etc when internet is not available...great for down times. I love it.!!

Have used this to back up all my music and video files no problem

It is great to have a wireless hard drive and upload my pictures fast and easy in minutes, I love it!!

purchased a usb micro-to-standard to connect my tablet to my laptop, was told I could then see / transfer data from each device from the other. the laptop cannot see the tablet. i can aiways use it as a phone-charging back-up.

The data transfer speed is good and I am able to play the movies wirelessly to my Tv.

Ever since having this wireless hard drive, I've had nothing but problems. The last problem is now either the usb cord or the usb connector isn't working and not letting me connect to computer or charge. Another issue is the software that comes with this device isn't great. I had to surf the internet on how others are using the device and software. Also, the look and the bulk size of this device is crazy. I should went with a WD wireless hard drive, BUT my Best Buy store didn't care it. So I was left to this paper weight. I will be contacting Seagate for them to repair or give me my money back.

It took a few days for my husband to figure out that he had to read the instructions to try and operate this devise. Then I think he had to YouTube it. Finally, with customer service he got it to work. It took him about two weeks to figure it out. He almost returned it several times. I don't think it's starter friendly. Once he got the hang of it, it does the job that he purchased it for.

It's a nice product at a good price. Works good and would recommend it.

This is our second Seagate wireless drive. We use them when traveling with our grandchildren because they allow each of them to watch what they want rather than everyone watch what one wants.

The hard drive works well when connected with the USB cable. The battery life is not good when used wireless.

I love the versatility of this product. Having a wireless portable hard drive that will connect with my computer, tablet and smart phone and stream files to them is unbelievably great.

I wanted to love this. It's 500G, and I like to travel. Unfortunately, it's so difficult to use that I sent it back. I'm fairly technically savvy and I gave up. The reviews about the lack of documentation are true - the setup guide is just pictures, no words. The website isn't much better. It's not that hard to set it up and connect it to the app. The difficult part is storing, accessing, and streaming the media.

Bit slow, not to impressed by this device, does the job, its okay
