Great Hard Drive

Proprietary Software Limits Usefulness

We found that because of the proprietary software wouldn't allow us to play most of the movies we owned. It also appeared to have connectivity issues where it would drop the signal. If not using this for streaming media, it probably would work very well. But it's not a reliable enough experience otherwise.

Easy set up, easy to use

Just turn it on, connect to wi-fi through the device, and the transfer begins. It really could not be easier. The only drawback is that if you are transferring photos, you can't make folders on the backup disk to organize according to date/trip/location etc. You need to make the folders first and then the folders will be transferred. Other than that, the back up is great.

Easily set up to work with my iMac and small enough to put in my shirt pocket. Reasonably rugged. Stores all my photos and acts as a backup for my data and photos
