Since this hard drive gives off a wifi signal. My sons were able to watch movies during the road trip. It kept the vehicle quiet and I was able to drive without interruption.

I can't figure out how to back up files, It forces you to place files where they want you to put them. It will not allow you to organize the drive the way that you would prefer. Many more unfriendly issues with this drive. Don't purchase unless you want to spend lots of time trying to figure out how to use it.

Great portability, and value

Now I have twice the storage. Perfect for my videos and moving between PCs and macs. USB3 gets all the speed too. Verry pleased.
