SERIOUS WARNING ON UNPACKING THIS BED!!!

I'm perplexed on how to rate this bed. Moderate support but much improved over our last one. The biggest downside is the unpacking. I will say when cutting off the plastic (as it's packed in a box) be careful! No warning materials saying that the bed will fling into it's full position upon removal of plastic. It knocked my wife back against the wall and gave her a concussion. She also received a severe bruise and discomfort in her back because of this. I would give this mattress a four star rating but due to it hurting my wife, it gets 1 star. Looking into legal proceedings with our lawyer. It's unfortunate that you need a comfortable bed after unpacking that same bed.

I’m really disappointed with this purchase. I can’t return it, we’ve had it for about 6 months and it is already starting to sag. It offers almost no support, everywhere you go you just sink into it. At first it was great! But the memory foam had broken down quickly. Not sure what our options are from here but I don’t recommend for longevity.

I've been using this mattressfor about 2 weeks now. I have a low-profile bed, so I support the mattress with a stainless steel bunkie board. PROS: Extremely plush; supportive; appears to be durable construction; it has a spring inner layer. CONS: I wish it was a bit more firm; needs more supportive spring layer. The largest complaint is that there is little support at the edges of the mattress, so it sinks / deforms when you sit on the edge, say, to put your shoes on; I go into a deep sleep, and I've almost rolled off of the edge because it deformed. For the first week or so, everytime I got into bedand laid down, I felt like by body was lower than my feet, which I found to be uncomfortable and annoying. I feel like the second week, that feeling went away, either because I got used to it, or perhaps the mattress compressed a bit. For that reason, I would have rated it maybe three stars. However, the more I slept in it, the more I found it to be extremely comfortable. I have transient back problems, and for the last 2 months straight, the back pain was back enough to make getting out of bed a hassle. As I said, I've used the mattress for about two weeks, and for two weeks straight, I've had no back pain. I DO believe it is the mattress that has made a HUGE difference. I gave this four stars due the the lack of firmness and the poor support on the edges of the bed. But I've slept so well, that I'd recommend this.

If you have a 2 year old I wouldn’t recommend. Also the stings/ fabrics come tear very easily. It’s alright. I was expecting much more.

I have only had the mattress for a week, but I love it. The mattress comes to your front door rolled in a bag within a box. You cut away the bag and watch it grow into the proper shape and size. This 12 inch high memory foam mattress is a hybrid mattress with foam and springs. The mattress is very comfortable. It is firm yet soft too. The mattress supports me in all the right places. I had back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain. In the short time I have owned this mattress I wake up with no pain on those pressure points. Movement is easy. You get great support as side sleeper or back sleeper. Movement does not wake the wife, like our previous mattress. There is a cushion top that adds to the comfort. This is a very good mattress. I hope and expect it will hold up over time.

    Sleep in Comfort

Buying a bed is difficult because laying on a bed for 5 minutes in a store is not the same as sleeping on it overnight and over long periods of time. I am happy to say that this bed did not let me down. Right from the start it was very comfortable. Also, if you are thinking about buying this bed, you might want to know that it comes packaged in a rather small box. The mattress is actually folded in half and rolled up like a sleeping bag. All the air is sucked out of the bag and when you tear the outer plastic piece it literally inflates. It's pretty amazing that after it inflates it feels exactly like any other mattress. I would also classify this bed as not too hard and not too soft. If I sleep in a hard bed my back will hurt the next day. The same with a soft bed. Amazingly, after sleeping on this bed for a few nights I noticed that the discomfort I used to feel in the mornings was gone. I know everyone has a different take on bed firmness, but I have slept on a lot and this one seems to have the right fit, at least for me.

Overview: The Sealy To Go Hybrid Mattress arrived in an unusually small box, for any mattress, let alone a queen size mattress! It’s a bit on the heavy side, you’ll probably need 2 people, although my UPS guy brought in by himself. The instructions, that I read after the fact, tells you to cut the plastic wrap with scissors and not a knife. It also instructs you to air out in a well ventilated room for 24-72 hours…oops. We unpacked it, my son and I jumped right on it. It was still very comfortable. There was a bit of an oder, but that went away fairly quickly. Comfort I’ve been using a memory foam pillow for years and I love it. I’ve always wanted to try a foam mattress but was concerned about drawbacks I’ve heard about, such as foam mattresses retains body heat. This Sealy mattress is a combination of traditional coils with a memory foam layer. After sleeping on this mattress for over a week, I’m happy to report, this is one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve slept on! One thing I’ve noticed with my old, traditional mattress, if I wake up and lie in bed for another hour or two, my back starts to ache. With the new one, I don’t have that problem. I can waste the whole day away on my iPad and no pain! As for the foam mattress retaining body heat, I have not yet noticed that happening, although the weather in the northeast has not been very warm, about mid 50’s. Perhaps the hybrid design of coil spring and a foam layer does not retain body heat. Conclusion My old mattress is only about 3-4 years old and was fairly expensive, it’s a traditional coil spring mattress with a thin foam layer. While the difference in comfort between my old mattress and this new one isn’t dramatically different, I like the newer one better since my back doesn’t ache on it when lying on it for extended periods of time. The Sealy To Go Hybrid offers a lot for the price. If I had to replace my kid’s mattresses, I would definitely consider these!

We have only had this mattress for a few nights, but so far I am very impressed. To begin, the new "ToGo" way if packaging mattresses is brilliant. Its actually kinda fun to pull it out of the box and just watch it expand as you cut open the air sealed plastic. The instructions said allow 48 hours to full decompress, but honestly I think it was pretty much all the way there within an hour or two. As for comfort, I love it! I hate super soft mattresses and I also don't like them solid as a rock. This is a happy medium. It was listed as being medium to soft. I would say it leans more towards medium. The memory foam is great. Very little break in needed. In a very short time on the first night we got it we felt right at home with it. The 12" depth is nice as well. I have a feeling this will last us a very long time.

As we all know, purchasing a mattress usually consists of going to a mattress store and dealing with mattress salespeople. And there may still be a place for that kind of purchase out there, but for an excellent queen mattress in a pinch without the hassle and delivered to your doorstep this may be the best thing that has come around in a while. The boxed mattresses you usually find are low quality memory foam and are equally as poorly made. This hybrid mattress from Serta is a revolution in the boxed mattress design, containing both coils and memory foam, this is a significant step up from most memory foam boxed mattresses. I'd definitely buy another if I was in the market again

This mattress replaced a pillow top mattress I've had for years. I didn't know what to expect when it arrived in a box but once it was unwrapped it started expanding. I've been sleeping on it for a couple weeks and am really enjoying it. It's on the low firm side which I really like. Being my first memory foam mattress I was skeptical but since there are coils inside it feels more premium. Anyone looking to purchase a new bed should definitely get this.
