    This Review is for: SeaQuest DSV: The Complete Collection [Aluminum Case] [18 Discs] [DVD]. I had waited for some time for this item to be restocked so that I could place my order. Upon receipt of this set we opened the nicely packaged case and sat down for an evening of what was to be some nostalgic viewing. Unfortunately, that was not to be. When we attempted playback of disk 1, our player informed us that the encoding for the set was incorrect for our region! On further inspection of the packaging, we discovered that the set we had been sold is for playback in REGION 4 PLAYERS ONLY! Players sold in the United States are encoded to play REGION 1 media or REGION FREE media. As you might suspect, with this fact being evident, the foreign encoding made this set of discs unwatchable and therefore useless. :-(
