It’s no surprise that Jennifer Lopez is the queen of romantic comedies. But even when a film has more comedy and a little less romance, she still holds your attention. While Second Act has the feel of Jennifer Lopez’s earlier films like Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner, there’s no doubt that it’s a fresh modern version of the classic tale of a woman making it on her own.

I knew I would like this movie because it stars Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini, two people I find quite entertaining. I guess they are friends in actual life and it shows by their chemistry onscreen. There are a few surprise moments, and many laughs. I'm glad I bought it because I will definitely watch it again.

I gave up a child for adoption 27 years ago and just found her through a DNA service. This story was extremely relatable to my situation and it reminded me of all the feelings I went through at the time. It also reminded me of how I felt about moving on and having a family with my husband. It definitely left its mark on me.

This movie is a really really good family movie I love Jennifer Lopez's acting. If you liked other Jennifer Lopez's movies you'll love this it's funny it's sweet it's a comedy and a romantic movie like all her others glad I bought it

I enjoyed watching this movie very much and I would recommend it to anyone who is a Jennifer Lopez fan. I think she has always been a great actress and that is only surpassed by her also being a great singer.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Great story of getting a “second chance” at achieving your dreams. Inspires you to think of “what if” situations and the endless possibilities that available to you.

We just thought it was a great movie. It has a message within the movie. Easy to figure it out. J Lo does great. A sad moment or two, but this is a happy movie.

All I can say is my wife really liked this movie. I however can’t give an honest review as I fall asleep every time a chick flick comes on tv.

Jennifer Lopez returns as the wonderful comedic actress that she can be. This is a wonderful movie with a great message...never give up on your dreams.

I enjoyed this movie but the ending was "meh"! Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini have great chemistry! Vanessa Hudgens was pretty good too!

Jennifer Lopez is one I didn't like when she was young, but she gets a lot better with age. I appreciate her more each time I see her.

Totally enjoyed this cute chick flick with the gorgeous J. Lo. Unfortunately they drop the "f" bomb so do not recommend this for children to watch.

My wife wanted to see this movie for a while, so I bought it for her. I watched it with her. Good movie. JLo still looking hot.

Love Jennifer Lopez in this movie and The Wedding Planner. She is a class act and plays her parts well especially with the background she has.

JLo does justice to an everyday situation. It also lets kids know to strive for more, don’t give up and accept all opportunities.

If you love J-Lo this is a movie for you. It also has Leah Remini in it and she is hilarious. Totally worth the watch
