Amazing Start for RLE's First Full-Length Album

Secrets Don’t Make Friendsis like a melting pot for a few different genres which really give RLE an edge because you’re guaranteed that not every song will sound the same and there will most likely be at least one song on the album that you’ll like. There’s some rock, pop, a little bit of an indie on a couple of the tracks and on the last song there was a bit of a techno flare to it. That they can take several genres and mix it all into one takes some talent and RLE did an amazing job doing that. This group of guys is very talented in the art of making music. I really enjoy every single track on this CD, which is very rare (the only other band who has done the same thing for me is House of Heroes), every song on this album is super catchy and it stays stuck in your head…in a good way.

I've had the pleasure to know Stephen Hull, a great guy and keyboardist for Rocky Loves Emily, as the keyboardist for Woodward.
Do yourself a favor and get this album. It is rare to hear such inventive lyrics and style as these guys can bring. Excellent blend of chirpy, happy, vibes mixed with a disco rock grit at times.
"Be Mine Tonight" is one of my favorites as it has the flow and power of a power ballad. But, honestly, there's not a song that won't pump you up and have you dancing on the dance floor (or jumping on your bed). It is start to finish epinephrine bliss to hear these tunes...love it.
They sound a lot like Jonas Brothers...same energetic spirit as them.

It's no secret these boys are incredibly talented. And since it's not a secret its safe to say Secret's Don't Make Friends is honestly fantastic. You'd be lying if you said otherwise. They did honest work and as hard as they could to make this as open as possible. IT was a success, its an incredible work provided by incredible people. Let's just be honest here, you'd by lying if you said you could resist the temptation of Secrets Don't Make Friends.

With so many "pop-punk" bands out there I find it difficult to come across something fresh and exciting. That being said Rocky Loves Emily definitely had me at Hello. I can't stop listening to the album and often find myself with the choruses stuck in my head, singing aloud. It has a little bit of everything. My personal favourites are "The One I'm Searching For" and "Dreams" all in all Great record!
