Great Security

Works Good but......

Followed troubleshooting nothing. Took it to Best Buy and the person working in the install area made it worse now I have a nonfunctioning alarm and disappointed that the tech from best buy made it worse (side note it was the radio installer who "help" troubleshoot)

AVOID IN NEWER CARS

I purchased this through Best Buy and they installed it. After 6 months, where the audible beeps on the transmitter worked only some of the time, it malfunctioned and caused my starter motor to stay on and engaged with the engine running. This caused my starter to burn-out and disabled my 2015 Toyota Sequoia which was not even a year old. It cost me OVER $2,000.00 to repair since the starter motor was over $1,750.00 and it cost me an additional $300.00 to have it towed 120 miles to the nearest Toyota dealership. None of that cost was covered under warranty since the system was installed as aftermarket equipment. Avoid this product in newer cars!
