I previously purchased a Viper bundle which included the installation, security, key fob, and hood sensor along with features that I don't know about. My installer recommended the new model of how Viper sells their products with a modular approach: you pick and pay for what you want. My needs were easy: keyless entry, remote start, and alarm. Guess what? That is exactly what I paid for and overall it was cheaper than the bundle. On top of all that, my key fob is rechargeable. I like this new way of selling by Viper.

So far i really like the viper alarm it has been awesome cant beat it for the price. Im able to sleep at night now knowing my vehicle is secured by the best car alarm money can buy

It works great and starts every time! I like the alarm too, it's much louder than the factory alarm. I am very happy with the price and the quality.

I couldn’t be happier with my Viper add on alarm. My Best Buy installer previously installed my Viper remote start on my 1999 suburban. Now I have the complete package and peace of mnd with that flashing blue light in the windshield letting everyone know it’s protected. I purchased this to add a security alarm system to my truck. Best Buy's auto tech installed it with a Viper DS4+ remote start system and everything works great! I was looking for a simple but effective system and I found it here. Even received a discount from being a Total Tech support member and free installation.

Perfect choice for your vehicle if you have automatic start system ds4/ds4+ installed already It won’t work if your car doesn’t have installed. Instalation was provided by Best Buy at no extra cost The system it’s solid and very responsive The sensitivity can be tweaked after Again no more worries for your car As a tip: ask your technician to set your OEM car key to take over the commands including the auto start

Seems to be a really good alarm system/security system but I had an amp a radio two sets of speakers and subwoofer and a remote starter installed so I had to move my battery in the vehicle up to AMG battery

This security alarm is amazing I put with remote starter and is working very good

The alarm is great, except the siren, it’s pretty wimpy. I will have to buy an aftermarket one that is louder. I do not recommend best buy to install…it took them way too long and too many trips to best buy to get it right!

I added this security feature to my DS4. I like that it's an all in one tilt sensor, temperature sensor, and shock sensor all built into one. I would give this a five but the siren is smaller than most alarms I have had in the past so it makes it a bit quieter and harder to hear from far away. Other than that I would for sure recommend any viper product

Love the added benefit of having security for my vehicle. Car had its own, but I like that this is connected to my DD4+ system.

After my car got broken into in my driveway it was clear that my safe/secure home was not so safe or secure anymore. I had the viper alarm system along with the remove start system. The remote system is a definite must have for the viper alarm system. Being able to start the car from inside the house with the confidence that the car will be there when I get ready to leave.

I've had better system with Prestige remote start/ security systems. I decided to go with the better brand and regret it. I add this on to the remote start system. Both are poor quality. The siren is low and the shock/tilt sensor doesn't work. Even lifting the car didn't set it off. I had to get in and shack the car back forth to set it off. Took it back and tech couldn't increase the sensitivity. Wanted the 2-way remote, since I couldn't hear the alarm but that is not an option anymore because Viper took them off the shelf and don't have a release date for the newer version.

Great security system! The shock sensor is a little too sensitive in my opinion, at least for things that don’t even involve actual break ins. For example thunder will make it go off which I’m afraid will get quite annoying, wife also tried using ice scraper and made it beep at her because of the percussive sound that the thunder and ice scraping make.

I absolutely love this system, it has great range and has never failed to start and the alarm system is not too overly sensitive.
