I love, not to bad to put together. Puts off nice heat.

The item itself is pretty good, packaged very well, no issues upon delivery of it. The biggest problem is the fact that it is advertised to be able to hold a 50" tv. However when we got it it clearly states in the directions that it is for a 46" tv. I contacted Best Buy regarding this misprint in their description of it, yet it is still listed as 50"....if you check the same tv stand in a different color it is described as being able to hold up to a 46" tv. So if you are in the market make sure that you have a tv that is no bigger than 46"....other than that the product seems pretty good so far.

The electronic fireplace insert: This is a common model used by dozens of companies and I’ve had several over the years. Good quality except the thermostat is not accurate (off by as much as 6-8 degrees low). The cabinet: this is my first (and last) SEI cabinet and here is why:The paint job (Ivory) is very thin, streaky and poorly done. Thicker paint or 2 coats are needed. At $600 one should expect quality paint. The top mantle was cracked but repairable. Several screws were the wrong type, you can’t use wood screws in OSB they strip. I changed them to drywall screws. The plastic inserts that the cam bolts screw into is too soft and half of them stripped. Again repairable with glue but time consuming. change to harder plastic. One of the side front panels was badly warped and required extra screws to fix. Fortunately my screws were hidden after assembly. Repaired. Maybe the other 3 finishes are better than the Ivory maybe not, but SEI needs to make some changes in production and not scrimp on the (Ivory) finish. I bought the Ivory because of the deep discount intending to paint it flat black this spring. Last, assembled it is a nice design albeit with the above flaws in manufacturing. I gave this 3 stars which is generous, it is average at best. Best Buy offered excellent service as usual.

I purchased this item from bestbuy.com and had it shipped to the store. I went and picked it up and brought it home. When I was taking it all out of the box I noticed it was missing the insert, the heater portion of it. It just was not there. the Manual says it comes in another box but I only received one box. So I called the store they didn't have another box and tracking information they stated said only 1 box was shipped. I ended up getting transferred to their online customer care and I was told that there was nothing they could do. So I angrily hopped into my car for the 40 minute ride to Best Buy to return it. I was sold a product and was only given half of it and when I questioned them about it they said there was nothing they could do.....Why would I recommend this item to a friend if Best Buy isnt going to give you everything with it???
