This is a nice TV and a great price approx $150.00 with Tax. People at checkout at Best Buy were really friendly. You need screwdriver to install the base which was pretty easy. Set up was easy but on this model the case had minor wear and also I had some dead pixel/screen scratch right in the middle of the TV so I need to return it. I didn't care about cosmetics -- just the really small scratch in the middle of the screen. Overall picture was really clear and the the TV scanned the local TV HD signals with my antenna no problem. I don't usually write reviews, but think although the TV I got had a screen issue, Best Buy has a 30 day return policy even for refurbished. It was a hassle to break down my old TV and then install the new one and discover there was an issue, but I think that is the chance you take when you buy a refurbished product. So I need to go for a new TV, but if you are on a budget you might get a good deal and get a good unit for a low price.

This is my first time into getting a flat-panel TV, replacing my 15 year old Philips. I was hesitant in trying out other off name brands (Colby and the others) based on reviews from others, but thought, heck why not give this "one" a try. I decided to put it in my room. Upon setting it up, there was one (probably two) uh-oh(s): a missing iron plate that would would connect the holder and the base and one missing screw. I don't know if this was from my part, but I'm missing a few parts. I managed to get a set of washers to connect said stand for the TV - it worked! As far as the TV and connections, there were great -- I can't say that it was excellent, but it would do for a bedroom TV, or if I could, a setup for my computer. Not too concerned about sound and other things. I hope it would last long as it can... other than that, a happy customer. P.S.: Kudos to BB for the speedy delivery -- Many Thanks

The TV was dead on arrival. Would power up but no picture or sound. Also could not get the remote to power up the TV even after changing the batteries. Was also a white crack on the frame surrounding the TV. Returned it to Best Buy for another brand and went with a new TV instead of refurbished..
