If you love the Dark Souls series and want something a little different, but with that same challenge and polish - Sekiro is for you. It's hard, but rewarding to progress through this game. A fine example of how a single-player experience is all you need to make a great game.

As someone who is not played any of the dark souls I found this game pretty fun and very difficult. However, it was a little bit too difficult for me and I didn't end up finishing it. That said I think the gameplay is very solid and if you're interested in checking out a dark soul's type game, this is a good one to do so.

Visually stunning game it fast paced action and excellent stealth

I've heard game critics say this year was overall pretty weak for video games but don't let that bias overshadow Sekiro's rating by IGN as Game of the Year. It's tough, but fair and will take repeated attempts before beating. Worth the effort to play.

Name the hardest dark souls boss you've fought. Multiply by 100,000 and give them the speed of ryu hayabusa on every energy drink k own to man. I'm only 2 bosses in and I'm loving every beatdown I get. This game is not, IS NOT for scrubs.

This is probably the hardest game I've played in a long time. I love hard games, but this is way past that. Graphics are amazing and so is the gameplay if you have the time to perfect your move set. I couldn't get past the first boss, but there are others who have and good for them. Great game, but super hard.

I'll coin the term "Soulsbornechu". I haven't completed the game yet but it's great so far. It's Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Tenchu rolled into one. Visually it looks fantastic. Full of action and exploration. Great game all around!

Two words: Buy it. Recently finished the entire souls trilogy and man was I craving another challenging game. This game delivered!

Wow, never got into games like this. I felt like this was a must try and am I glad I did. This is probably the toughest game I have played but so rewarding when you finish a boss.

An excellent From Software masterpiece. Everything from the story to the combat is near perfection. The game is also challenging and brutal at times but that is what has made the souls games worth playing

This game is as difficult as everyone said it was. If you love a challenge then this game is for you. I can see why people return this game after playing it but I'm not one of those people

This game is tough. From beginning to end you will be pushed but it’s worth the effort. You will fail a lot in this game but it’s not cheap and once you learn the mechanics and very rewarding.

This is a great game if you like ninja or even stealth type games. Quite difficult and very challenging. Definitely worth it if you can find it especially on sale

Very challenging games but that’s what makes it fun. Can’t just swing your life away and hope to kill the enemy’s. You are forged to learn the fighting/weapon styles to time your deflects.

Dark Souls with Samurai!! Nuff said!! Very hard game, not for thos who gets frustrated easy or break controllers. Great grfx and gameplay, From Softwares best game yet!

It’s a very difficult game but very rewarding if u like dark souls demon souls and bloodBourne which is my favorite u will like this game set in Japan

And then many times after that... It's a From Software game. It's hard. However, it's a little more forgiving than Souls/Bloodborne in my opinion. Awesome game overall.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a flawless entry into From Software's "Soulsborne" series of video games. While obviously not directly in continuity with Dark Souls and Bloodborne lore, Sekiro takes the same formula and reimagines it with tense fighting and stealth mechanics. The game is a lot more grounded with little customization but it works for it and allows it to have a much more serious story that can actually make sense without a necessary deep dive into the lore. While the difficulty can feel a bit toned down in this entry, there is no denying it has the same Dark Souls feeling of accomplishment.

One of the best games hands down. The game is challenging it will make you wanna quit but when you beat a boss it makes it even rewarding

It’s rare I find a game that challenges me this much! I’m loving every minute of this! Very challenging, not for the impatient, but great fun through it all.
