This game is not for everybody but for a specific type of player the likes the challenge and enjoy its good combat, Before dark souls, demon souls, blood borne, I almost gave up on gaming but these games brought me back to gaming and this once keeping me here it reminds me of when I would play the nintendo games and the super nintendo games like contract, castlevania, Mega man And others alike, It's a great modern game with a nice old school Sense of challenge and reward system ( By reward I mean overcoming a challenge as the reward), Nowadays there's to many games out there that you beating you feel like you didn't really do much, you just went through the campaign with not much effort, this one on the other hand, is for us the old school crowd and the new school crowd that still likes to overcome, But not a broken game that is challenging because it doesn't work right, this is challenging in a fair way and it's always Rewarding to learn from your mistakes. If you're the type that doesn't like those walk through simulators that a lot of these games are, you'll love this one highly highly recommended. It has a beautiful art style, Smooth gameplay and a great at soundtrack too. For me this is a must have so glad that they still make games like this nowadays.

If you are a fan of the Dark Souls series, buy this game. If you are a fan of games that challenge you, buy this game. If you are a fan of fluid sword play and beautiful graphics, buy this game. It is difficult at certain points and it may anger you, but it isn't because the game is poorly made. The challenges are against your skills, and overcoming those give you a sense of satisfaction that not many games can match.

I love the entire soulsborne series and while this one isn't quite the itch scratching desire the others are its still a ton of fun. The difficulty is re-learning your muscle memory after playing the other souls games. The world can be a bit boring compared but overall the gameplay is satisfying, and enjoyable on all levels. Only big con is this game does not have the replay value the others brought me.

I am a fan of the souls series with over 600hrs on DS3. After the first few hours of Sekiro I was disappointed. Mostly because I kept dying and couldn’t get the hang of it. Once I was able to shake the dark souls play style I was finally able to master Sekiro. Now I love the game and it is up there with my other top favorites.

If your familiar with the studio's other games like Dark Souls or Bloodborne, this plays similarly. Very difficult but very rewarding and satisfying once you get a hang of the gameplay.

this game is for you. Although the game is definitely not dark souls, it still oozes with Miyazaki's influence. I should warn that this game is hard and there is no multiplayer aspect to help. It's single player all the way through. But once you get the hang of it, it is as a great a game as From Software's other titles.

If you’ve played Dark Souls or Bloodborne then you know what you’re getting into with Sekiro. I found myself getting better the more I die in game. I really enjoy the Japanese lore as well. If you’re up for a challenge I recommend the game but if you’re easily tilted you might want to look elsewhere.

The game is challenging, just like FromSoftware's Dark Soul / Bloodborne series. But the play-style is much faster and really makes you take it seriously. The move from RPG to more action / adventure game was not an issue, the game was still really strong.

Fun game in an interesting setting, but very challenging and fairly complicated. I never managed to get over the hurdle of how difficult the game is, but if you're willing to put in the work it seems like it would probably be a pretty enjoyable game.

After being an avid Dark souls player for years. Sekiro makes me play different. Which means I have died a lot more than I do in Dark souls or bloodborne. However this games combat is amazing and sets it apart from past games. Loving it so far!

Not a game for everyone. It's hard as a mofo but it also comes with a reward and a sense of accomplishment. Not easy at all and I feel like this is the hardest Souls game yet imo, I'm struggling but not giving up.

From Software has evolved with each game and Sekiro feels like a fresh take on their formula. There have been a lot of changes but it feels like a natural progression.

A solid challenging and rewarding game from the masters at FromSoftware. My only gripe is no co-op or pvp like previous games in the SoulsBorne genre had.
