As long as there is somebody willing to give up their young body for a price, you can live forever, that is the concept in Self/Less, you can actually maintain your mind within another human body, over and over again as long as you can afford it... the story is a good futuristic medical concept, of course only benefit a few ..I really like the movie it moved fast, does not give you enough pause to answer a lot of huh moments, all in all it is entertaining, I saw it because I am a fan of Ryan and Ben Kingsley...was not disappointed...recommended viewing

Self/less was an interesting movie, it sustained my interest and is now a part of my collection. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but prior to knowing what actually happened to the persons Involved I could only imagine the possibilities of a second chance, or more, to make different choices in life, but at what cost and is it really a fountain of youth, another chance of life, a sick or dying person to be healthy again? What happens to others involved? Watch and find out!

A Billionaire industrialist owns the universe, until he encounters That he can't defeat: cancer. His only hope is a radical medical procedure called "shedding," in which his consciousness is transferred to a healthy body. After the procedure, Damian, now called Edward, starts a new life in New Orleans, but he's plagued by disturbing images. When he delves into Edward's mysterious origin, he learns that some will kill to keep it secret.

Self/Less is, in a word, disappointing. The movie has all the ingredients in place -- including the right director -- for a brainy Sci-Fi film but instead settles for a slick but still second-rate Action bore-fest that's neither creative nor exciting. The movie works well enough as a mindless romp through a litter of potential that the movie seems almost afraid to touch, but anyone expecting even a modicum of dramatic satisfaction should look elsewhere. Universal's Blu-ray release of Self/Less does offer top-shelf video and audio. Supplements are of the standard commentary and featurette variety. Rent it.

After a consistent consecutive attempt to be entertained via cinematic experiences I was utterly afraid to open this movie, but I over came this feeling after boredom settled upon me. I was pleased that the movie had captured my attention and kept it . It had a twist to in towards the end . good movie very entertaining

The movie has an intriguing plot of what could be in the future for living longer than normal lives. The actors do a good job in showing how money can hinder relationships. The bang is the ending and how what makes us human overcomes science. You won't be disappointed with it.

I was a little curious going in and felt that curiosity was well rewarded. The video is razor sharp, the audio track is phenominal... the dialogue is ineligible and gunfire and explosions had a "reach out and touch it" realism. Good movie overall

The previews kind of mislead you about what this film is, but don't let that dissuade you. It's a decent flick with good acting and is well shot. Ryan Renolds does good in some heavier moments. Worth checking out.

Ryan Reynolds gives a very good performance in the movie, Ben Kingsley also does, everyone gives a good performance. Just wait, there will be a following for this film. I really like this action drama suspense.

Got the movie really didnt know what to expect but started watching it and the movie kept me intrigued and into the movie was very good movie from start to end a need to buy movie for anyone..

I expect more of this movie, it was good and obviously Ryan Reynolds its a great actor, we saw his performance in Deadpool... but this movie was good but in my opinion not his best.

A very good movie that shows that some people with money will go to any lengths to be immortal, or try to be! As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for because you might just get it; and in this case it wasn't to his advantage in the long run. That's why we enjoy the movie's, an escape from reality!

This movie was great! It had twists and turns that weren't immediately obvious. And the lead character has a life revelation that changes him. A moral to the story!

I missed this movie in the theater. It was an interesting concept but underdeveloped in the movie. I expected Ben Kingsley to have a greater role presence in the movie.

This movie is a great movie with a lot of twists and turns with a plot that makes you question what you would do if given the same opportunity for immortality.

This is a pretty good sci-fi thriller that critics hated for some reason. The AV quality is excellent and there is a good commentary with the director.

Ryan Reynolds keeps you interested in this Sci Fi / Action / Suspense movie. It has an interesting premise, and is just entertaining. I enjoyed it.

Great science fiction meets "I could see that happening" flick. A little on the predictable side, but still a good movie. One that makes you think.

Saw this on Redbox before buying it at BB when it was on sale. Pretty interesting plot. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
