A great film to watch to understand yesterday struggles as they correlate to todays discrepancies within todays society...a reflection of the blemishes that we try to cover in america

Especially considering the current racial climate in America, I think everyone should take the time to watch this movie before weighing in on current event topics with your opinion.

This movie allowed me to have an open dialogue with my children and filled in gaps in American History not taught in school; also showed how people were accepted in early times

I've seen the story of Martin Luther King, but not the Selma aspect that this movie projects. I like that fact that they just focused on the exploits in Selma and told that story, a story throughout history that hasn't gotten the attention as his other exploits....very good movie, one that I will be watching with my family again and again.

Selma is a great movie! I saw this in the theaters and I also bought the Blu-ray when it was released! This movie had a great storyline, great actors, and a great director!

I wasn't born when Dr. King was living but, the producers really got involved with his family and civil rights family to portray him in such a diligent manner!

I was very pleased with this movie. It actually depicted the struggle for civil and voting rights for the African Americans living during that turbulent time.

I lived through this period of time but was very young but do remember these struggles that took place, the acting is fantastic and the portraits magnificent
