I've done quite extensive search about this kettle. There were no reviews from Best Buy customers at all. I've leaned that Sencor was founded in Japan as an electronic equipment company. Then it was moved to Europe, to Check Republic. Now it designs different appliances. Read some reviews from different sources with lowest rate of 4 stars. I decided to order from Best Buy and used some my BB points as a discount. The kettle prove to be excellent. There is LED(or LEDs) that would change their color based on water temperature. It is actually quite interesting to see how colors get change as temperature rises. This kettle has an audio alarm. It beeps 5 times before it shuts off. It beeps as you remove kettle and put back on base. The kettle can be programmed to keep a water temperature for 30 min for 5 different temperature settings. Sencor kettle so far is the best kettle I've had.
