At first I tried to test this bulb in 2 different floor lamps but cold not get it to work so my husband had a shop clip on lamp that we tried it on and it worked. Until we buy another floor or table lamp we are using it in a 1982 Hanna Barbera Flinstone Fred and Dino lamp. Hey, don't laugh, it's working
