I currently own way too many pairs of earphones, with at least 30 in my collection as of now. After ordering these a couple weeks ago, I haven't been able to put them down. Everything about these is just amazing, despite some negative reviews. Where to start... the design is simple and well-done. There's very little here that can really break. The mix of metal and plastic construction feels sturdy yet lightweight. I've had no problems with them falling out of my ears either, as the comfort on these is nearly perfect. Now for the sound. The highs are clear, clean, and sparkly. Symbol crashes come in clearly without ever becoming harsh and overbearing. They're definitely elevated, but in just the right way. The mids are great too; smooth, inoffensive, and enjoyable. Rock and metal sound excellent on these. They also work for most genres, as I didn't have problems with any of the tracks I tested these with. Vocals are forward but don't come off as harsh or sibilant, which is nice since I'm sensitive to sibilance. The lower mids do have some slight oddity that I cannot explain. Tracks that have rich and low vocals sound a little off at times, but not in a horrible way. This may just be me being over-analytic. Now for the bass. At first, they didn't really seem to have any. But after listening longer and adjusting to the CX 1.00's sound, it became more apparent. The bass on these little guys is well-controlled and impactful. The sub bass is present without being overwhelming or splashing into the midrange. The mid bass gets a good bump too. For such tiny earphones, they pack a nice punch. All in all, these are a great deal for the money. I own all of Sennheiser's consumer-grade earphones (excluding the Momentum In-Ear), and these are definitely as good as their big brothers. The Sennheiser CX 1.00 are among the best you can get at this price range and they're definitely worth a try.

Great for gaming on your smartphone with the 3.5mm jack being angled. I play a lot of RR3 so it's great. Only two negatives: 1. No shirt clip. 2. No volume or mute controls. But for the price the sound is very good quality.

Feels comfortable in the ear, does not go above the sound level needed for the ear (sometimes i crank up the volume to maximum for few songs which i think everyone does :) but listening at maximum volume does effect the ears unknowingly over time and with these i felt like the sound is high enough and doesn't effect my ears much). All the beats sound pretty good.

Sound and fit great. Cord is a good length. Stay in your ears very well.

You would expect a company that does nothing but headphones to have a good product. These ear buds are muddy and distorted. TheApple buds for iPhone sound better.
