Disappointing for Sennheiser
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It promised "impressive sound quality and superior bass response", but I only got the former. The wide frequency range gives you plenty of space to hear all notes and vocals very clearly, but when the bass response is flatter than a pancake, it doesn't get my vote. So if you're a basshead, look elsewhere. While this set has lots of clarity between the mids and highs, I'd still do more research. My $30 CX 215 by Sennheiser that I've had for 3 years blow these things out of the water.
