Considering the name I was hoping for something special as I've been looking to get away from Beats as I'm just not happy with the quality for the price we are all paying for them. Thus I decided to give these a try - though I will admit the deciding factor was they were on sale for $100! Even though I had no real intention of buying headphones that day, it's really hard to pass up what could possibly be a really good deal as the demo pair sounded pretty good up against the others (the few demos that actually worked anyway). Pros - Decent, clear sound, fair amount of bass, good battery life, comfortable enough for me to wear for extended amounts of time while I work outdoors. Cons - Volume - won't go above source volume. Headphone parts are pretty much made of plastic. Being such I don't see much longevity. Controls - while pretty much straightforward, aren't the easiest to use or distinguish. Headphone cups - as far as I know they aren't replaceable. In summary: For the cost spent I can't really complain. If I had paid full cost I would have been disappointed. I would deem these a starter set of headphones, for those looking for a decent sound on a budget. They are not by any means a high end pair despite the name...

Purchased this somewhat by mistake. Went to the store to purchase the 450 NC version. Not realizing I picked up the wrong box and was happy with the lower price. The headphone is pretty comfortable. Sound is good for what it is. Not over based like Sony.

On my journey to find the right headphones I tried these out. Didn't love the fit, and didn't love the sound. Not enough bass and couldn't get it where I wanted with equalizers. Just felt like it wasn't quite there for that kind of money. Seems like you have to make the leap to something over $150 to make it worth spending more thant $50 if that makes sense. I was pretty happy with some $50 JVC's for a year or so, but they broke. Decided to bite the bullet and spend a bit more on a good pair and it took me a few tries to find some that really wowed me for the money. For me, there is no question that the JBL LIVE650BTnc are worth every penny of extra money. There's just no comparison. I understand that the difference is nothing to sneeze at, but seriously, if you can afford it spend a little more for JBL. You can get the 650 w/o noise cancelling for about the same price as the Sennheiser and I'm betting they sound just as good as the JBL's I ended up getting.

I like the sound this headset makes a lot and the build quality is really nice as well. The reason I think the headset is average is because the ear cups are quite a bit smaller than I expected. After wearing them for quite some time my head begins to hurt and it is not comfortable on my ears. If the cups were a bit larger these would be 5*s for sure. I would recommend them to almost everyone for sound quality but the smaller cups makes them a bit tough to wear for an extended amount of time.

The bulky look is in. And that would be okay, if they weren't so heavy. I don't mean they are so heavy your head will sag. What I mean is the band will rub on your scalp and thin your hair out. So minus stars for increasing baldness. The sound on bluetooth is meh. It doesn't sound better than a cheaper version of another brand. I will give it some points for long battery life, and also no issues with bt pairing. Oh and also this has "a custom" headphone jack. You can't use any jack with this. Minus more points.

I bought these headphones for working out and playing guitar. For working out they are a bit bulky but I was willing to sacrifice that so I could use them when playing guitar as well instead of using in ear headphones. Unfortunately I could not get the bluetooth to work with my ipad, only the iphone. ultimately I brought them back and exchanged for something smaller. They sound good and if I only needed them for music, I might have kept them. The headband is not that comfortable on the top of the head.

Sounds great, but not quite over the ear

These are excellent sounding headphones in both mode - wirelessly or connected. Bluetooth pairing is simple. BT connectivity is very stable with very little to no latency. However the biggest negative is they are NOT over the ear. I have a slightly smaller than average size head measured in circumference ( but a big brain), with proportionally sized ears; so my ears are normal sized if not on the smaller size and the earcups sit on a portion of my ear making it uncomfortable and hot :(

I really wanted to like these. But the earpads on the headset were extremely uncomfortable, too small and I have small ears. Ended up returning. Aside from the pads, they sounded nice and had excellent battery life.

The sound is very clear, but utterly flat, which might be a pro for some people, but they were no fun to listen to for me. Also, the thick, squishy ring of padding, some sort of memory foam with a vinyl coating, left my ears hot and sweaty after about 20 minutes. Returned a day later for a pair of equal-priced Audio Technica with no regrets.

My wife brought these and they sounded ok but the app for these headphones doesn’t let you use your own music service (this means no Apple Music), you have to use the one the list in the info packet.

    I tried to like them...

I picked these up to see if I could grab a bluetooth headphone without killing my wallet. I've had Shure SRH440s, used ATH-M50s, and am currently using Sennheiser HD 598Cs, so I've had a taste of decent headphones. I really tried to like these headphones, but compared to my HD598Cs, they just can't compete. This isn't to say that they're bad headphones, but I found myself going back to my HD598Cs headphones constantly. The two advantages the HD 4.40BT had was in the (1) mainstream bass department and (2) wireless function. When I wanted more mainstream bass, they delivered. Considering the HD598Cs isn't wireless, this is obvious that the HD 4.40BT will be better. I did enjoy being able to walk around the house without a cable, it's such a luxury that I will continue to obtain. The sound isn't bad, but it isn't great. I wasn't blown away, but I wasn't expecting to be because I knew I was paying for wireless functionality over sound. Comfort is okay, but the clamp force is a little too tight, and the earcups weren't large enough for me because I got used the spacious earcups from the HD5XX series. Speaking of the earcups, they are made of a cheaper and less dense memory-foam design. If you've ever used Brainwavz memory foam ear cups, they're similar to that, but not as good in my opinion as the Brainwavz. I'd recommend these for people with smaller ears, smaller heads, and for someone who wants decent sounding wireless headphones that don't cost so much. Unfortunately, I shall be returning the HD 4.40BT. It's unfortunate because it was so close to being the right wireless headphone for me.

    Hissing

This is my first bluetooth headphone. It was a tough choice which one to get for I didn't want to spend a fortune. After 4 days of usage I think I am going to return them and possibly get a different one. I usually listen to soft, quiet, meditation or drone type music. In such cases I find the hissing noise coming from the speakers quite annoying. If the music get louder then you obviously cannot hear the hissing sound but as soon as the music gets softer and quieter you can hear it. This is the worst part. I find it to be comfortable. I guess the controls are ok (since this is my first one I cannot compare it to others).
