Excellent sound quality, fairly comfortable, the best bang for buck open back over-ear headphones you’ll find.

    Excellent gaming headset

These sound quite good for the price. Compared to my HD6XX, the soundstage seems a bit wider and the sound signature seems a bit brighter and extends further in the bass and treble. These make an excellent gaming headset. All you need is a mic, which can be just a desk mic, built in laptop mic or even a mic cable, which are pretty easy to find. Build quality is typical of the Sennheiser HD5xx series. It's not premium feeling, but I actually prefer this style of build over some more luxurious headphones as I don't feel like I need to baby them. They're pretty rugged and I'm pretty confident they'll last quite a while. I didn't notice a significant difference switching sources, so they'll sound basically the same being driven by an apple dongle, onboard audio or separate dac/amp.

Great sound! Very comfortable headset. Some reviews stated that there were nubs inside the earpieces that pressed on peoples ears and became painful after long use. These nubs do not even touch my ear while wearing headphones.

A level of detail I didn't know existed

As a newbie in the higher end audio space, I have to say I am surprised at how much of a difference these make when listening to music, and other audio sources in general. The best way to describe this I guess would be the level of DETAIL that comes through on them. You hear EVERYTHING, from the lightest cymbal hits to the sound of the pick plucking guitar strings. I didn't realize how much I was missing out on when it came to listening to music. If music is a big part of your life, you won't regret getting these. It opens your eyes to how much more is actually THERE when listening.

Not even joking. The clarity of these headphones are amazing. I bought these originally because I read that they were great for gaming (they are), but when I first plugged them in I decided to listen to some of my favorite songs to see what the audiophile hype was about with these (I am by no means an audiophile). My god was I blown away, and still am. Up until this point, I never really understood what it meant to get lost in the music. Wanting to listen to a few songs turned into hours of listenting well into the AM, simply due to the clarity. I was discovering new sounds in songs that I’ve listened to thousands of times, and I was able to pick out individual instruments and beats that I’ve never heard before. 10/10.

Picked these up after being unhappy with the comfort of the Audio Technical M50x. Great sound quality, pretty comfortable, no complaints so far.

I purchased these wired Sennheiser HD570S to allow me to listen to my vinyl record collection, Cassette, CDs and digital MP3 music files. On all counts these allow a great way to listen to the music, hearing really accurate music and allowing a comparison between old and new technology. I am hearing music like I have not heard before. I am very pleased with these headphones. The quality is superb and the value for this quality is great value for $200.00.

Excellent headphones, can hear every sound. Great for gaming where you need to hear footsteps or enemy noise. Only downside is cable coming out, however you wouldn't be purchasing these if that was an issue.

Great if paired with a dac. The clamp force is a little too strong for me but I feel like is getting better. Rock music and live recordings sound so amazing. Probably the best you can get in this price range.

Awesome headset, I have been looking for a good gaming headset for a while now and have tried many in the $200 to $300 range, returned all of them, and they all sounded out of balance and out of tune with overpowering bass. So I have turned to more balanced non-gaming headphones. The Sennheiser HD 560 was exactly what I was looking for. Paired with Sound Blaster X4 I'm now able to filter sound for gaming like foot steps, especially playing CoD search and destroy mode.

    "Tight" Headphones

Great entry level audiophile headphones for anyone wanting great sound/monitoring quality for a good price. I recommend these for anyone looking to "squeeze" most out of their music. My only gripe is the build quality (as you can tell by my bad puns) but it's not all that bad to make it a deal-breaker for me; just be wary that it can be a little annoying after long 1+ hour listening periods if you got a big head like me lol. In conclusion, I feel the audio quality you get out of these heavily outweighs the ever-so-slight annoyance of these pinching your noggin a bit, (especially at the price) but if comfort is your make-or-break... You might wanna look elsewhere.
