My Review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When you have a passion for great recordings and sound balance, finding sound systems that please you is challenging. The purpose of a (good) sound system is to be invisible. You should be able to close your eyes and not being able to discern that music is coming from one speaker, or that the speaker is small or large, or the material it was made, because if you hear this, then is because the distortion it causes. Before bluetooth was able to deliver good quality, I used wired earbuds and spent hundreds of dollars in tripe driver Shure and Weston, so that's my point of reference to evaluate these Sennheiser's. I don't know how they did it, with just one driver, the sound balance, the details, separation of instruments, the punchy and sharp mid bass, the clean subs, velvet highs. These are the closest I've heard to true studio monitors. Sound is present, accurate to the space it was recorded. It won't add fake staging making a studio recording sound far, as in a concert, and that's my preference. The noise reduction in earbuds should be, ideally, mostly achieved by a tight in-ear fit. The provided silicone aren't as good as the memory foam used in pro earbuds, but I understand why they went this way, these are more durable, easy to clean and comfortable. To compensate the less than optimal isolation only foam can provide, this have Adaptive Noise Cancelling. I usually dread these techniques because what they do is feed an inverted signal of the outside noise, usually causing a feel of pressure or hiss or distortion. But Sennheiser has done an ANC that doesn't alter the music and complements the silicone plugs. The combination isn't as good as memory foam, but is a good tradeoff. The touch controls are intuitive, a quick tap of the left activates bypass mode, to have a quick chat, and another tap gets you back to your music. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. These are a great improvement from the previous version and I think they are the best at this price.

Premium,but not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome! Just short of perfect. I upgraded from Sony, WF – C500. I love these things, however, there’s a few minor things that would make them perfect. The biggest issue is probably listening to audiobooks at night. The volume will only go so low, but not as low as some other headphones. There’s anThe biggest issue is probably listening to audiobooks at night. The volume will only go so low, but not as low as some other headphones. There’s a threshold for low end up volume. The battery does not last all night long, the audiobook will die. Eventually, during the night. Overall, I would give them a solid B or B+ rating. PROS: -spectacular ANC -premium sound -usable EQ app -heavy mid range(clean, crisp) CONS: -large volume increments -battery is average at best -no super bass

Awesome audio! Great for calls, better audio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are fantastic. I wanted to try something different due to the issues I had with my AirPod pros. I use them for conference calls and I regularly had audio issues and most of the time people couldn’t hear me. These are way better. Easy to connect, great range, long battery life, excellent audio quality and noise cancelling. Great on the plane. Way better audio tone for music too. Tons of good stuff with the app too. Highly recommend for work and those who want a great tone for music and video. Only draw back would be the size of the case, it’s bulky, but they have excellent battery life. The case looks nice at least.

Sound Great. Look Great.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned several pairs of Sennheiser headphones over the years so I was quite pleased to try the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds. In the box you’ll find the earbuds in their charging case, a usb C charging cable, ear bud adapters, fins, and a manual. The charging case is nicely made. It feels substantial and is wrapped in an attractive gray fabric. On the front is a usb C charging port. Inside the Momentum 3s nest perfectly. This case also supports wireless charging. The ear bud adapters in the box come in XS, S, and L sizes. The medium sized adapters are already on the earbuds. There are 3 pairs of fins included with 1 set is already on the earbuds. With these options you are easily able to customize your new earbuds to fit perfectly. The earbuds themselves are sleek and attractive. They also look great while wearing them. I do wish that there was a better tactile cue on the earbuds which made it more obvious which way to hold them to insert them into your ear. I was ready to try the Momentum 3s. The manual instructs you to install the Sennheiser app. I simply scanned the included QR code to quickly launch the App Store to the Sennheiser app. Next you need to wake the earbuds up by charging them for 30 seconds. I then launched the app and was ready to pair the earbuds to the app on my phone. To do this you simply touch and hold both earbuds for 3 seconds. They quickly paired and then I was prompted that a new firmware was available. The firmware took roughly 10 minutes to install and then I was set. I popped them in and I was ready to listen to some music. The Momentum 3s sounded amazing. While listening I explored the Sennheiser app. A quality product needs a quality app and I wasn’t disappointed. In the app you find bunch of settings. Please note you can use the app without signing up for a Sennheiser account but a few features are locked until you do signup. Included is a Equalizer section where you can modify the sound to your liking or use one of 6 presets. In the sound check section you can also create your own custom equalizer presets. There are also settings for Transparency Mode which lets you set the earbuds so you can better hear surrounding sounds. You can turn this on or off with a simple touch to the left ear bud. There are also settings for the active noise cancellation. Here you can turn it on or off or set it for windy conditions. The wind setting comes in handy for obvious reasons. A particularly interesting part of the app is the Sound Zone section. Here you can set equalizer and noise cancellation to specific settings based on location. Think of it as audio geofencing. Fascinating feature. For instance you could set to change audio settings automatically when you arrive at the gym. There is also a Touch Control section where you turn touch control on or off or customize touch settings to your liking. The preset touch controls are pretty intuitive to change songs and change transparency mode or activate your voice assistant. All these features worked flawlessly. The Sennheiser Momentum 3s are impressive earbuds and after only a few hours of use they quickly became my favorite earbuds.

Beautiful sound, ruined by terrible software.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sennheiser momentum 3 buds have an amazing sound profile, but unfortunately that's where it stops. The software is complete trash to the point where you have to argue with yourself whether you want to connect them to a new device or not. It is such a hassle. They constantly drop connection, and if you want to switch to another device, you can't choose the earbuds from the Bluetooth settings section in your device, you actually have to use the app to switch the device or turn off the Bluetooth on your current device and connect on the new device. As you can tell, it is a complete hassle. On top of all of that, the one thing that annoys me the most about these buds has to be the fact that you cannot engage transparency mode or the equivalent of that while you are on a phone call or using them them to talk into. Although this may not be a deal breaker for some people, it definitely is for me. I cannot stand talking and having my voice be muffled and not being able to hear myself clearly. In a world where Zoom and remote work is part of our everyday norm, it's annoying having to hear a muffled version of your voice while you're speaking. Avoid these earbuds as much as possible unless you're a fan of constantly having to tweak the software settings just so you can experience the beautiful sound that these earbuds produce.

Great sound and NC but DO NOT GET THEM WET!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mine are really great but if they happen to fet wet or moist, it can do bad things to the earbuds. When dry they are awesome! Just a future warning to you guys! The noise cancelling us great as well. You also have to put them in your ears a certain way to get tge best performance depending on your ear shape. But overall great and the latest firmware can further enhance the sound. And these are tge best earbuds for bass.

Unreliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound pretty amazing but more often than not, one if the buds, the right, never charges. I pull them from the case and insert them in my ears and only hear one activate. Sure enough, I open the Sennheiser app and it shows the left earbud at 100 percent and the other at 0. No matter how carefully i insert the buds into the case, the charging is a maybe at best.

These Earbuds Rock!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sennheiser is a name you can trust. I've had nothing but praise for this set of earbuds. These earbuds are wonderful. The sound is amazing, clear, crisp, with low base reproduction and super highs of treble. They produce a pleasing sound when I play my music and speak over my phone. Included with this product are several interchangeable silicone earbud tips which ensure you will find that "perfect fit". Wearing them for extended periods of time was quite comfortable. I used them while gardening and bicycling and they stayed put. They did not become loose. Battery life as per the manufacturer is advertised at 7 hours. If you carry your bud's case, you get an additional 21 hours' worth of charge. So, if you take them along during a vacation for example, you are pretty much assured that you'll have sufficient charge to last. After several listening sessions, my earbuds still indicated a 100% charge, so I wouldn’t doubt the manufacturers battery statistics. A few comments on sound quality. Booming base, and high treble sounds were the norm. My music was alive with vivid sounds. I've heard sounds in my favorite music that I have never heard before. These earbuds are absolutely the best that I have ever owned. I love these earbuds. Pairing my IPhone 13 was a simple task, and it only took a few short seconds. A quick word on sound dropouts, NONE. I didn't experience any sound dropouts while being connected to my music. In fact, the range of these earbuds was awesome. Sixty feet plus and I was still connected. The touch controls of these buds worked perfectly and were easy to learn and operate. My only negative was where the pairing control was the located. I find that when placing them in my ears, I have a tendency to press the pairing button by mistake, but I'm getting used to them. So, it was more of an annoyance in my own learning curve. One surprising and awesome feature of this product is that it has wireless charging. How cool is that! I use my IPhone wireless charging pad, and it works perfectly. I did find the Sennheiser apps performance once downloaded to my IPhone to be ho-hum. The app was buggy, gave conflicting verbal information and just plain failed to operate correctly. I tried downloading the app several times, tried updating the software and it continually hung up on the 60 percent marker. Once I finally managed to download it, the app performance was ugh! Sorry, but not worth the effort as far as the app was concerned. This product has a 2-year warranty which is generous in these times. It's nice to see a manufacturer stands behind their product and gives you an extra year of coverage. Great! All in all, I really like these earbuds. They are definitely comfortable; controls are easy to learn, they have an amazing sound which brings your music to life! These are high on my recommended list. Splurge a bit and purchase a set.

AMAZING until they stop working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best sounding mainstream wireless earbuds I have heard. I especially loved the encompassing sub-bass you don't get from other brands. But mine crapped out in just 9 months which seems to be a common issue.

Needs major improvements
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is great for such a small package, but half the time it won’t connect to my phone. With these earbuds you cannot just grab them from the case and go. Often times you need to put them back into the case to reset them so they actually play audio from your device. It’s very frustrating and as a result I gave them away.

so far better than beats pro
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After the charging case stopped charging my previous beats pro every other cycle i gave up. thought i give beats one more shot. So far new ones sound good with music (not amazing) stay in ears well better than airpod pros, have good sound transparency and noise cancellation. Note be careful not to pull on the harshly some are reporting tearing of earbuds which cannot be repaired its a design flaw. Be careful with them should be fine. hopefully works out long term time will tell after 1 month so far so good

Close but no cigar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are trying all combinations with these buds, I still have very little.luck with my right ear in getting proper fit. When I do they are good but after a few hours the fit changes so the seal is lost. In addition, they hurts after an hour or so of wear. Sound quality is great if you can get them to fit.

Absolutely dissapponted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to start… My wife purchased the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 headphones for my Birthday (August 2023). In January, I reached out to Sennheiser to express our dissatisfaction with the product. Following that, a customer support representative got in touch and provided instructions for exchanging the unit. I complied and returned the defective headphones, subsequently receiving a replacement. Initially, the replacement seemed to function adequately, but after a few weeks, we encountered a problem with the left earbud not charging in its case. Attempts to reseat it have been unsuccessful, leaving the left earbud perpetually uncharged and unusable. Given our initial dissatisfaction and the ongoing issues, which have not met our expectations, i requested a refund which was not approved. I told them I prefer not to incur further costs by returning this set and receiving another potentially faulty pair. It's disappointing to encounter such issues with a Sennheiser product, a brand from which we expected high quality. It’s been three weeks since my initial communication with Customer Service and they never replied.

Great Sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. That app has a bad rating but it works well on IOS for me. The sound is amazing. Definetly better than all generations of their earbuds(airpods) and beats pro earbud line. Noise cancellation is ip there but not better than the sony xm4.
