Exceptional Sound Quality and No Fatigue Fit

Overall rating is 5 stars. I can keep the headphones on for hours without feeling fatigue and have fallen asleep with them on while listening to music. The fit was important bc I'm petite and didn't want the added bulk and weight. The headphones are superb not only in fit but also in sound quality. I can be on my mobile phone (Apple) have them on while working around the house. Mic quality is exceptional. Sound is crisp and clear. Bluetooth connection and app can use some refinement but overall, this is the best NC headphones I've ever had. Happy with purchase and highly recommend.

    Headphone Greatness

I know the name, Sennheiser from their microphones, but this is my first Sennheiser headphones that. The headphones are very well fit it. The sound from them is great! Even though they were a little expensive for my taste, I found that the money was well spent. I would recommend them to any session musician, and or a music aficionado to consider these headphones very seriously. I have never had a pair of wireless headphones with battery life this awesome. Also, being able to switch between two separate devices without having to go through. The whole link of process is a great added benefit.

    Good Buy

Pun intended. Very smooth sound and intuitive controls. It was a surprise gift for my wife and during the unboxing I tried them on and gave myself a slap on the wrist for having jumped the gun on a different brand for my own headphones a few days before. These headphones are comfortable and have full sound at medium volume without being overwhelming. Battery life hasn’t been an issue and the carrying case is beautiful. Will definitely be looking into buying myself a pair of these in the future!

Great battery life. Connectivity issues make them almost unusable. Touch sensors are VERY sensitive, and cannot be turned off. Do not recommend.

    Momentum continues to gain momentum

I have been using various models of Sennheiser headphones, noise cancelling and not, over past 25 years. Their sound quality is unsurpassed. This model is no exception, neutral open sound with no excessive bass like come competing models. High quality build, comfortable, light with extra long charge hold. Quality case is a bit large as they only partially fold. Noise cancelling is adequate for me. I am a little biased as I am admittedly not a Bose headphones fan.

These headphones are pretty awesome. They have superior sound and feature an app that lets you customize the sound and some features with ease. They are very comfortable and fit nicely with no discomfort. The headphones include a case and a cable for wired use. They are easy to sync as they go into pairing mode when you turn them on. You just find it on your phone or device and pair them. You can then install the Sennheiser app and this is where you can really get the most out of the headphones. The app allows you to fully adjust the sound. It actually has a way for you to calibrate the sound for customization. I really loved this feature. It feels like an eye test for your ears as it switches between one and two and you pick which one. It is hard to explain but trust me, you will get more out of the sound afterwards. You can then adjust the noise cancellation with a slider. You can slide the bar and change the level, and it is super cool. This is good for when you still want to let in a level of ambient sound, this is better than a simple on or off. My major complaint about these headphones is the touch control on the side of the right ear. The touch zone is massive and overly sensitive. I am the type of person who constantly adjusts headphones, maybe it is just me or a nervous tick or something, but I constantly adjust. When I do so, I am always inadvertently touching the pad and pausing the music or changing the volume. This was very annoying for me. This was the reason I had to remove one whole star. Other than that, These headphones have amazing sound and an awesome app. I highly recommend.

    Sennheiser Momentum 4 recommended

I recently purchased the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is exceptional, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs. They are incredibly comfortable for long listening sessions, and the noise cancellation is top-notch. Highly recommended

Sound is good, but constant Wifi disconnect.

The sound and construction are good, and they are very comfortable, noise canc is ok, they connect very easy, however they disconnect also very easy, every 20-30 mins is a pain, and the noise cancelling also. Battery life I was expecting more, I'm disappointed for the price, I won't buy them again.

Great sound hamstrung by subpar ergonomics

I've had the Sony WH1000-XM3 since 2019. I love that headphone like a friend. It's been with me through thick and thin. Its ANC performance is exceptional. Its comfort is superb. I can wear it for hours and hours without developing any distracting pressure points or muscle tension. Unfortunately, I find the XM3's sound merely passable. It's a bit too warm/muddy resulting in a lack of textural clarity and detail separation, and its soundstage is quite small. I listen at home using HiFiMAN Arya Stealth headphones connected to a Schiit Jotunheim 2 / Bifrost 2 stack, and I really notice what's missing sound-wise when I put on the Sonys. That's why I purchased the Momentum 4. I'd heard great things about their sound, especially for the price. For $250 on Thanksgiving weekend, why not give them a shot? To start with the good, the Momentum's sound absolutely does live up to the hype. It separates musical details significantly better than the XM3, and it renders an impressive amount of textural detail for being bluetooth. The Senn's default tuning pushes too much sub-bass for my taste, but that's easily EQed. Unfortunately, the Momentum also created a noticeable pressure hotspot at the top of my head, and its clamp force made my jaw muscles tight. I wore the headphones a lot for a couple weeks, but the issues weren't appreciably reduced with break in. The XM3's headband pad is much more curved so it doesn't flatten out when you open the headphone, allowing it to contact more of your head and distribute pressure more effectively. The Momentum 4's headband, conversely, does flatten out when you move the cups apart, and the result is insufficient cranial contact area causing a pressure hotspot after only a few minutes of use. The Momentum doesn't slide/shift as much as the XM3 due to its greater clamp force, but I'd trade a little less stability for a lot more comfort. The Senns gave me jaw tension more often than the Sonys move around. I use my ANC headphones on my commute (public transit — I don't wear them while driving) and at work. I wear them for hours in a row sometimes. I need my headphones to not create unpleasant physical sensations that distract from the music, let alone give me an outright tension headache. The Momentum 4 does both, and break-in didn't seem to help, so it got the ergonomic veto and was returned. All that said, if the Momentum 5 fixes the 4's ergonomic issues and equals or betters their sound, Sennheiser can count on my money. The 4 is fantastic tech hamstrung by comfort issues that I'm sure they have the expertise to fix. Will they? I don't know. Progress isn't assured. The Sony XM5* is less comfortable than the XM3 in my opinion and in the opinions of everyone I know who's tried both. Fingers crossed. P.S. The XM3 has better ANC than the Momentum 4, but the Momentum's ANC is still pretty solid. P.P.S. Best Buy should add a "Comfort" category in the section where you can rate sound quality, battery life, and connectivity. Ergonomics are a top consideration with wearable tech. *I don't own the XM5, so I'm not going to do a big comparison, but my impression of the XM5 after an admittedly brief test is that it's more comfortable than the Momentum 4, but the Momentum 4 sounds better.

Overall great quality sound. Bass is punchy, physical feel is a bit plasticky but have good weight to them, and ANC doesn’t hiss. One can went out after a couple weeks but replacement was easy peasy at Best Buy via warranty process. Warranty is 2-yr which is great tbh. Not ideal for working out IMHO but these are great for travel or listening at home without disturbing others.

    Solid for Tarkov

Rarely do I leave reviews on purchases, but this is an exception. As an audio head and an avid gamer, this pair of headphones checks all the boxes for me. For the past year, I have been searching for the perfect all-around headphone trying pretty much every wireless flagship headset +$200 from companies like Corsair, Logitech, Razer, Steelseries, Sony, Bose, Astro, and a few others not worth mentioning. The Momentum 4 offer a wide sound range that can be amplified even further through sound EQ applications on PC. Coming from the SteelSeries NovaPro Wireless, I was used to having two batteries with a long lifespan due to the interchangeable batteries. However, the Momentum 4 has held up very well with charges of up to roughly 48 hours. At first, I was extremely hesitant about going with the Momentum 4 and XM5 due to having to run them wirelessly to reduce cables. There is little to no sound delay, and that is coming from test done on Tarkov.

I have an Iphone 15 pro max and was wanting some headphones with great sound and quality. I bought a pair of momentum’s to use for daily casual use. The sound quality is really good out of the box and in my opinion it does not need to be adjusted. Quality it is much nicer build compared the XM5’s. Issues with these headphone were the constant amount of times it would disconnect. After about 20~ minutes of music, they would make a loud hiss noise and disconnect. I would then be unable to reconnect the headphones at all afterwards. After this happened 3 times, i gave up and returned them. Not sure if i had a defective pair but it is something to keep in mind.
