Best head phones on the market for this price range. Good levels and clean sound.

Black Friday “deals” sometimes leads us to making purchases on products we’d otherwise overlook. Being significantly less than the regular price, one may just throw caution to the wind and attempt an insignificant splurge. Well, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Headphones was one of (several) “deals” for me, this price slashing season. I’ll just start by saying, I feel for those that paid for these at full listed price. They really fall short in sound quality. Weak- is a perfect word to describe their performance capabilities. Even when adjusting the EQ in the “My Sound” section of the app, as well as adjusting the audio resolution (as well in the app). Just, poor overall audio. I recently, let’s say a few months back, got me a pair of JBL Tune 235NC TWS earbuds, for about $60 (at BB). At first, they too would have been written off (like these Sennheiser’s are in this review), for underwhelming sound. However, after adjusting the EQ to my liking (in JBL’s app), they boasted a significantly better sound than the default. I would go so far to say, having a richer sound than even my Apple AirPods Pro 2’s- which again, come with a much heftier price tag. The comparison of the two (JBL & Sennheiser) comes down to the fact that being able to adjust the product’s default sound, was a significant changer in its perceived quality, as far as it’s fundamental function of producing sound. It’s laughable that a product like the Momemtum 4 with a price near the $400 (at regular) mark, is compared to, and bested IMO by a product several hundred dollars less at base value. Once a product’s intended function has missed the mark, everything else about it isn’t even worth acknowledging. I mean, these headphones are comfortable, I guess. The controls are relatively simple. I would compare the Momemtum 4, honestly, to Beats Studio Pro Wireless Headphones. Same build material quality, same price range (at regular), same underwhelming/ disappointing audio quality.

These are the best sounding headphones I have ever used. Great feel for all day wear, I use them 8 hours a day at my desk job and they are fantastic. The case they come in is very protective when traveling and conveniently sized for everyday packing. 60 hour battery life is a sweet perk too!

This headset truly shows the incredible products that Sennheiser puts out, and it's honestly in my top 3 best headphones I've ever used. The only ones that top it are the Sennheiser HD 820.

These Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones sound really great. Better to my ears than the Sony models.
They charge up much faster and last much longer on a single battery charge than other models as well.

Great headphones. Has a few audio glitches every one in a while, but I nothing I haven't experienced from other headphones. Great battery life! Comfortable and durable.

I was skeptical at first because these headphones are not cheap but i do not regret buying at all! You won't be disappointed with the awsome sound quality and 30 hr long battery life!

These sound fantastic, even better than the Momentum 3's they were replacing. Subjectively I liked the sound profile better than the Sony XM4 and 5's others in my household have. Noise cancellation seemed to be on par with the previous generation Momentums, but not quite at the Sony level.
Ultimately I returned these, as, within a few weeks of purchase, they developed an intermittent crackling in the left ear cup - the same thing that started happening with my Momentum 3's (which lasted over 3 years) and lost patience. Sigh. Maybe others will have better luck.

The Momentum 4 headphones are excellent. They produce sound that allows you to hear music with incredible detail and warmth. There are parts to songs that the M4's allow you to hear instruments I never heard before. The bass is very smooth, the midrange is clear, and the highs hit well without being too bright. The companion application is solid and allows good control over the headphones with its equalizer. Also, plugging it in to my PS5 controller allows fantastic full range sound for gaming as well. I love these headphones, and I highly recommend them.

Not the best ANC headphones but better sound quality then Sony or Apple on sound quality. Comfortable for long hours of listening, impressive and clear sound.

Very good sound quality and ANC works extremely well. Sound quality is great but lacking in volume. Could not justify, at this price point, having to listen with volume between 50-75% volume all the time. I'm sure listening to them wired with amp would have better outcome but then I could just get a set of wired headphones. I feel they would be a better value at a lower price point. Returned them.

For one, they are great headphones. But that goes without saying for Sennheiser. They are easy to use and very user friendly. I am glad you can turn the voice feedback off in the app. The app itself is okay, very basic. However it allows you to customize eq, buttons, etc. The battery life is amazing though. I dont have a number, but even with heavy use i have gotten them to easily last a week. Overall great product. I would put these above sony XM4, not sure about XM5 or airpod max

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones deliver exceptional audio quality with rich, detailed sound. The design is sleek and comfortable for long wear. However, the ANC functionality could use improvement, as there's some inconsistency between the app and touch controls. I travel a lot, and overall, these headphones offer an amazing listening experience.

Solid performer. Not as deep bass as Sony but very articulate and pleasantly clean without being sterile. A lot more comfortable than Beats (beats aren’t very good), i think they are on par with Sony but not as soft. The anc is good but no where near the Sony xm4 or 5. I haven’t tried the bose so I can’t comment. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
