Customers have good things to say about the sound quality, long cord, and comfort of these over-the-ear headphones. Many appreciate the strong bass response and the ability to comfortably wear them for extended periods. However, some customers found the fit to be a bit snug. The extended cord length is a plus for many users.

This was a perfect purchase for school. It is an affordable, yet still professional pair of headphones!

You get what you paid for. Thought based on online reviews that these would have a higher quality audio, but they were loaded with noise and grit.

I did a lot of research before buying these headphones. Originally, I was going to buy the Beats because I knew they were really popular, but I didn't want to spend that much. I found these and not only are they incredibly cheap, they sound phenomenal! I read several reviews that said they were too tight but I have not found this to be the case. I do know that they loosen up a bit over time. They also cancel out any other noise and the bass is great. The cord is very long, this can be good or bad depending on the user.

I was looking for a good pair of headphones that would last a few years, but nothing too expensive, no more than $50. These are great headphones for the price...I'd definitely expect them to be more expensive than they were for the value you get out of them. Nice, rich sounds. I use them for video editing, so I'm not looking for recording studio quality. For what I use them for, they are fantastic. If I could change one thing, it would be the fit. They have this angled thing going on. It's not uncomfortable by any means (quite comfortable infact!) but it feels like they aren't snug on my head like maybe the straight over the head kind would be -- don't let that be a deal breaker, they haven't fallen off for me. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased the sennheiser momentum (m2) for my studio a while back and they was honestly the best headphones I put on my ears. After a year of having them they started to fail on me and I had to send them back. coming from $300+ headphones to this was a dramatic step but I have to say, when I got these I was really surprised at how good they sounded. I feel in love with sennheiser from that day on. I have to say it sounds like its worth $60 but the downside is the soundstage which is terrible and of course the sound which itsnt amazing but is worth more than $20. the cord is very long so that's good for a studio but terrible for traveling .

I have my hd202 (not the hd 202ii) since 2003. Exactly 2003!! I bought it to play counter-strike back in highschool and the sound was so clear, that people called me cheater at that time because no one else had headphones with such great quality.
I also used this headphones to listen to some music and I imagine that you will not find anything similar for this price. Recently I bought online to my younger brother a Sony $20 headphones and the sennheiser is waaay better !!!! Way way better.
For years I have tried to buy newer and nicer headphone but it was impossible, because hd202 was simply the best for an accessible price. Before 2009 we did not have all these 1000 options. You could only find dj, gamer and professional headphones.
After 5 years I replaced the ear cushion pads and it sounded like new again (no sound bleeding anymore and great sound isolation again). You can find them for 5 bucks online and it is easy to replace.
Also used to travel for work and the sound isolation is good. Not perfect, but good enough for you to put some music on and do not be bothered by the loud announcements.
I have used it since then and I feel just sad that after 12 years the right speaker stopped working. It is time for me to get an upgrade it will be another sennheiser.
If you do not want to spend a lot of money and want good quality, get the hd202!!!!

Big sound for small price

I'm not an audiophile, but I do recognize and appreciate good sound. These headphones have surprisingly good sound for the price. I mostly use them to listen to music on my computer at night via iTunes - I adjusted the iTunes equalizer to get the sound where I want it and get crisp, clear highs, good mids, and strong but tight bass. They aren't noise canceling, but they do muffle outside sound pretty well.
The fit is quite tight at first, although I do have a rather large head so it might not bother people with normal to smaller heads. I owned a similar pair of Sennheisers previously (lasted me 6+ years), which were also tight at first. After a while they stretch out and are so comfortable you forget you're wearing anything.
If you're looking for above-average sound and don't want to break the bank to get it, these will do the trick!

These headphones are a great deal for indoor studio. It has really long cable so you can use them on your portable devices and also the speak, laptop and hifi devices. Great audio performance for the price.
However, they are not good for travelling. Noise cancelling is not really good. They should be used in indoor studios.
Very awesome product that can be used on my electronic guitar!
Love them, love the price!

This product is really a great value for the money. Really very good sound and bass. Also helps in noise cancelling. I would recommend this product if the budget is low.

i find these headphones to have great sound reproduction for listening to my mp3, but very uncomfortable after a hours listening. They are advertised as over the ear but for me they are more like on the ear and I don't have large ears.

Bought this to listen to music at work. Works well at isolating office noise, sometimes to the point where I am surprised by people coming up behind me.

I was not expecting much for $25.00, however, I am thoroughly impressed with the sound quality, and especially the fit, very comfortable. I use them mostly at night listening to jazz, reggae and soft rock. Pretty impressive for $25.00.

I guess when I found these "Noise Cancelling" headphones I thought that 34.99 was a smoking deal. No, I wasn't looking to buy a Bose quality headphone for that price, but I really wasn't looking for Bose quality.
They have NO noise cancelling properties at all. They have thick padding on the ear cups, this does not qualify as noise cancelling. They are also not "Over the Ear", it says On the Ear right on the package. If they were Over the ear (I do not have large ears, nor do I have the ears of a 6 year old), I would keep them as they would be a comfortable headphone with really good sound (they really do have a nice rich sound to them). But as they are neither (even though they are listed that way), they are being returned.
