I like these headphones a lot. Super comfortable and the over the ear style is much better/more comfortable than the on ear style. I own a pair of solo beats by dre and I use these more often as the sound quality is compairable but they're just more comfy. I wish the cord that plugs into the aux jack was more durable as it feels a little cheap but besides that these are great headphones. 4/5 stars and for under $40 great purchase!

These headphones are exactly what you'd expect from sennheiser, they sound great and have held up great The cord is thin but has still held up just fine

These sound good to me, and are pretty comfortable. The build quality doesn't seem great to me, but I think overall they're a good value for the price.

Overall I am satisfied with the product although I do agree with some of the posters that the input jack wire is rather small and I suspect it will be the failure of the device at some point in the future. The Sony headphones these replaced had a much thicker wire but they had to be held together with tape because the plastic holding the ear pads broke. The only other thing I don't like about this product is that it doesn't fit all head sizes. I didn't ask for it and it has been a PITA all of my life but I have a large head compared to most so the head phones even fully extended barely cover my ears.

Long cord,with the over the ear headphones don't hurt your ears like the buds do, recommended for casual wear

Would definitely buy another pair of these if they go on sale again. Great sound!

If your looking to not break the bank and don't mind a little sound bleeding through these are great headphones.

if you like the bass headphones this is a great choice for you, the only negative thing is the headphone cable because is to thin and the headphone do not have case!

I picked up these bad boys today at a local Best Buy and have been impressed the entire time. I opened the packaging and noticed that it was relatively easy to open, unlike many headphones. The only flaw I can see in these is the cord. It's a little flimsy for such a powerful pair of headphones, and I could see them being the only downside to these in the long run. I plugged them in to my computer and turned on a relatively bass-heavy song. The beginning sounded like any other pair of headphones, but that's when I realized my sound was only at 30 percent! I turned the volume up to the usual 80 percent I listen to music with and instantly I noticed a couple of things. First, the music is CLEAR at even the loudest settings! Some pairs of headphones get mushy when you start to peak them, but these perform! If you're looking for booming bass that melts your skull, these aren't for you. The bass on these isn't blown out in the least, rather it is very clean and sharp. The headphones also give crisp, clear highs and mids. Above all else, however, I think the best thing about these headphones is how comfortable they are! I've been wearing them for 4 hours and I can hardly feel them. They fit snugly but aren't so tight that they are pressing your ears into your head. I was also surprised that they come with an $8.00 2 year warranty, which was definitely a plus. I'd recommend these over Beats to anyone any day, they have proven to be nothing but exceptional.

These headphones are more trouble than they're worth. If you want headphones this size, I'd recommend getting something of better quality. Otherwise, if you want something cheap like this, get something smaller. This is cheap and bulky and ended up being a hassle and mostly a waste. Didn't last that long.

Good Fit and Comfort and Sound Clarity. Bass is disappointing. Not the headset you want if you need strong bass. Plus the headset is not loud enough.Even on full volume you would feel it sound mild. My Verdict : Avoid it.

Design and Build Pros: +All Black,so it's not an eye strainer. +Exterior of ear cups are rubber,with glossy accents. +Single wire coming out of the left ear cup. +Made of high quality plastic,which you would expect from a lower-end Sennheiser product. +Material of the padding is cloth (feels like microfiber) and is extremely comfortable after long listening sessions. +Ear cups swivel in just about every way,so you'll get a good seal to get the best sound possible from these headphones. +Headband is really flexible. Cons: -The hinges (where the ear cup itself is connected to the headband) are only connected by one point. So it might break off. (That's why I got the protection plan). -Wire is not removable,really thin,the housing of the 3.5mm jack is big and bulky but Sennheiser has slimmed it down from the xx8 series headphones. Sound: (I burned them in for about 12 hours and I got these results.) These headphones are advertised as bass-heavy and has punchy bass,which is true. The bass is really punchy,but has no force behind it. Bass on these headphones do not over-power the mids and the highs. Out of the box the mids (vocals) were really recessed,I couldn't bare listening to Adele's songs. After the burn-in,vocals stood out a lot more. I can't really tell you about the highs,I'm far more focused with the lows and the mids. These headphones don't need an amp (40 ohms I believe) but they will greatly benefit from one. I didn't use any of my amps for reviewing purposes. Final Verdict: If you don't mind the thin wire or recabling it,by all means purchase these. These are one of the better headphones under the $100 price range. But if you want the best sound possible for under $100 get the Koss Pro DJ 100. For $60,these are phenomenal.

I bought these a week ago and i can say i am blown away. I thought they would be just decent headphones but in my opinion the sound is comparable to beats. Great punchy bass just like the description says,decent comfort for such big headphones,and great clarity in sound even when turned up full blast. These are a must have

I am writing this review from my NEW iPad while listening to Pandora. I cannot believe the quality to price ratio. Other NAME brands cost 3 to 4 times as much...These will blow you away, or take you away to your own little space. There is burn in time necessary. Meaning let them play for 3-5 days before you judge them. I am an audiophile. I know quality. Other name brands charge you for just that, the name. These are soooo comfortable, and truly have very well defined sound. Everything you could ask for!

They sound great, takes a little getting use to the way they fit. I don't put much faith in the cord strenght and it is just too darn short. I just hope they last longer than my good sense tell me they will. They were a Christmas gift or I would not have bought them.

These are great over-the-ear headphones for the price. Seem to be built well. They are pretty comfortable, ears do not get too hot wearing them for extended periods of time. Reduce a good amount of outside noise. Recommend to someone who is new to over-the-ear headphones.

In the past, I've had a Sennheiser open air and an old Koss Pro-4AA headphones. Although the Koss was the best of the pair, I prefer my new Sennheisers. Like speakers, headphone preferences differ widely. For me, the new Sennheisers are very clear on the high end but suffer a bit on the low end. I wish the bass was a bit more pronounced. This can be overcome by changing one's equalizer settings. In terms of comfort, I can wear these all day. They are really comfortable. Koss is coming out with a new version of the Pro-4 AA. It would be interesting to do an A-B comparison with my new Sennheisers. Nevertheless, the new Sennheisers are worthy of a reccomendation to those wishing a new set of headphones.

These fit comfortably over the ear and the large soft ear cushions drown outside noises from disturbing music or movies I'm watching on my laptop. Only improvement I would suggest is a larger diameter cord.
