They appreciate the wireless connection, long battery life, and range of the headphones. I love not having to have the TV volume at top volume. When my hearing impaired spouse wears these headsets, he can enjoy hearing his shows, and I can enjoy a blissfully quiet house.

I had the RS165 for about a decade and they were great. The RS 175 have the same comfortable fit as the RS 165, but they're slightly heavier. Like the 165 they have spacious ear cups that are decently well padded. Unfortunately, they also have the same problem as the pressure they exert around your ears is not properly distributed. Unfortunately, the ear cups are heavier than those on the RS 165. The sound is great, especially since I used the Optical connection.

So I have tried MANY headphones for both gaming and movies, and their has only been two higher end pairs of headphones that are just fantastic for movie watching. I have to say that the RS-175's are one of the best Bass producing cans on the market for a great movie experience. The reason why I say this, is because the low end does not sacrifice the middle and high ends. After using the bass boost feature, I can't go without now. If you are looking for a pair of headphones that has excellent wireless reception, and great sound for movie watching, then I highly recommend these. I will say with the "surround" feature, there is a low and high setting. I do enjoy the low setting, but the high setting is way exaggerated. Besides this, they are the best I've tried for movie watching.

The headphones produce high quality sound. My husband uses them at night so that I don't have to be disturbed by the television while I am sleeping. He likes them; however, they would be better if they were smaller.

Bought this for my father to watch movies and F1 racing in his small vacation home. The sound quality is fantastic. It sounds like you have a $10k home theater system, but without all the hassle and size. My dad tells me they are comfortable and he has no trouble watching a 3hour Formula 1 race with them on.

Sound-stage was mediocre at best. Bought these to listen to streaming tv and music. Returned them after multiple attempts to love them. Went back to my wired headphones. Have a set of wireless that sold for around $60 that outperform these by a huge margin. Very disappointed given the brands reputation.

Great sound and easier to connect to you TV. Longer range for listening. Comes complete, no addition connects needed. Tried Sony and it was more difficult without having an optic cable. Sony sound was so-so. Returned the Sony.
Sales staff stated I would be very happy, I am.

Bought to replace RS120 and that is a big sound improvement. However, there’re audio drops sometimes (never had this when used RS120). For the price of $160, I am happy with this purchase.

Really good headphones. Fantastic sound. I'd give them a 4.8 rating.
One minor flaw: When I first connected the headphones to my new Samsung QLED TV via the optical cable, they worked great. But after a few uses, they no longer worked via the optical selection on the TV, and only worked through the TV speaker selection. It's a minor convenience, because it means that I have to turn down the TV volume everytime I use the headphones (this could also be a TV issue, but I think it's the headphones).

I use this for TV viewing late at night or movie watching at any time, as I do not have a sound bar or speakers connected to my new Sony Bravia 49X900E. The surround sound is amazing and I have control order it and the bass function. Well worth the under $200 price. I still have the Sennheiser RS-180 I purchased 7 years, and it will serve as an emergency back-up. I think Sennheiser makes great products and I am a loyal customer.

Fantastic product. I’m an IT guy with 35 years exp. Bought it for my 98 year old World War II veteran Dad. Unfortunately he could not make the change, since his shoulders are failing and putting them on was difficult. I tried them and thought they were fantastic. Thanks Best Buy and your partners.

My husband is very hard of hearing; to prevent the TV from turning up loud enough for the neighbors to hear, buy this product.
According to him, the headset is comfortable and easy to use.

They work fantastic!!! I can hear the tv again!!! Everyone around me can talk as loud as they want and I can hear the tv with no problem. Finally, problem solved. Headset is very comfortable to wear and the controls are easy to use. Great surround sound too. Highly recommend.

This is one of the better sennheiser models. No loud static when pausing TV which causes a loss in signal, and no scratching noises when turning the volume up and down, which happens to other cheaper sennheiser models over time. Also, the battery charge indicator, bass boost, and surround sound option makes this the best wirless tv headphones i’ve ever own. I have no negative critiques to offer. Highly recommend.

Bought these for our TV at our condo. Could not turn up the soundbar volume without disturbing our neighbors. So, hooked up 2 pair of these to the TV so we can enjoy better than movie theatre sound at the level we want. You hear sounds through these headphones you don't even hear with surround sound systems. Love them and they solved our movie watching volume problem!

I had an old pair of sennheisers that were 10 years old The sound quality had diminished and they were falling apart. I purchased these new ones and they are for Superior I highly recommend these for anyone with a hearing problem

The sound is very good (not Bluetooth). The range is quite good. The over-the-ear cushion is the best compared to many other earphones I tried. I wore it for up to 2 hours without any discomfort. A big plus is that the battery is non-proprietary so theoretically it can be replaced with a non-rechargeable battery if you run out of juice. You just have to be careful NOT to put it back on the stand to charge when you have a regular battery in it, of course. Do it at your own risk...
