Wanted an easy to use wireless headphone to watch my movies without disrupting or being disrupted. After reviewing a number of systems I desided to purchase the Sennheiser. Connection to my TV was very simple and quick. The 3 sound levels allow you to personalize the experience with the highest level being surround sound.
Very pleased with this system.

I have used other TV head phones in the past and not really liked the results. I decided to bite the bullet and buy some good ones. They have a great range and beautiful sound. When I can't listen to my great sound system I can put these on and still get a good surround sound experience!

I am so happy with this product. I am very hard of hearing and had so much trouble watching tv. Raising the volume just didn’t help, so I have been relying on closed captions, which just made watching tv harder and far less enjoyable.
Using the Sennheiser Digital TV Headphones has changed everything for me! I feel like I’m in my own private surround studio. And an extra bonus— if someone else is watching with me they can still hear the tv without any switching options on the settings mode. I recommend this product 100%.

These are excellent headphones for watching tv good quality sound,
But if you want to watch DVD, Netflix, or Firestick you will need to purchase a digital to analog decoder for about $40.00 I bought the OREI DA34 and it works great.
here is a description of why that is needed that I found on the Sennheiser website under their Q & A
Audio coming from certain content providers or devices (Netflix, Roku, Apple TV etc.) typically use an advanced digital audio signal such as HDMI or advanced Dolby audio. These cannot be translated into analog or PCM by most television software and so the signal is not passed through into the headphones. As a result you may get silence or audio from a different source like your cable box.
In order to resolve this, you will you will need to change the audio output format in the app or device to PCM (may be in the smart hub on some TVs) or you will need a digital to analog decoder. The Digital to Analog Decoder will take the advanced digital signal and decode it into an analog signal that your headphones can utilize.
You will not lose audio quality as the digital signal is a carrier signal only. Any audio you hear from your TV speakers, sound bar or headphones is an analog signal. The digital signal is translated by the TV, receiver or other device by the time it reaches the transducers. The only difference is where the audio signal is translated.
If your digital optical output is not in use we recommend the OREI DA34.
If the digital optical output is already being used by a device like a sound bar you will want the J-TECHDigital to Analog Decoder because it offers both an analog output for the headphones to use and an optical output for the soundbar (or other device) to use.

Sound-stage was mediocre at best. Bought these to listen to streaming tv and music. Returned them after multiple attempts to love them. Went back to my wired headphones. Have a set of wireless that sold for around $60 that outperform these by a huge margin. Very disappointed given the brands reputation.

I'd used a Sennheiser wireless headphone in the past so this was my second one. Overall the features and build quality seem better. It's nice they've added an optical in so I don't have to use a converter anymore. Comfy fit over the ears. It's nice to have a bass booster and a few different listening modes to you can change things up depending on what you're listening to. It's not fine tuning but there is enough difference in each mode to find one that stands out for your particular use at the time.
Things that can be improved: The control buttons on the side will take some practice. There are 4 of them (bass, sound mode, volume up, volume down) and it's hard to tell the difference out of the box. That will get easier over time but in the beginning I accidentally hit the wrong buttons and had to cycle through to get the same listening mode back when all I wanted to do was change the volume.
Also, the max sound allowed could be louder. My guess is this is an industry thing, but I remember my old pair being able to crank up louder.

The sound quality is fantastic and they are very comfortable. The sound is better than other pricier headphones I tried. Bought 2 pair and set up was easy with an optical splitter. Only downside is you need a decoder to receive Netflix audio with these phones.

extremely happy with our new headphones. The surround sound works beautifully one major feature is one can listen with the headphones while the other one listens with the TV volume at the same time.

I needed headphones for my 95 year old father-in-law who is hard of hearing. Watching tv as a family was painful. He needed the tv full blast to hear anything. Found these radio frequency wireless headphones that allow two separate audio streams. My tv settings allowed this but only with the tv speakers. Found an audio splitter after some research. It works with my 5.1 soundbar set up! Put this splitter between my ATV and TV. HDMI to TV and optical to RF receiver. Bingo! Father-in-law can watch what we are watching with his own audio level. And the family can listen at a normal level.
The sound is great and range is great. Does not lose the signal or drop out as others have mentioned. I highly recommend these if you’re trying to get two audio streams.

I work graveyard shift, so I use these every night I'm off, so I do not wake my roommate. It works great with every genre. I like the bass and surround sound during action movies. The headphones are still comfortable during binge watching.

Has great sound, but I have had some issues with the wireless connection cutting in and out. It didn't begin until the last few days. Not sure if it will be a continuing issue.
