I originally bought these to help sleep next to a snoring partner and other noises. The ear plugs with the fully blocked attachements do not fully block out all noises. I tried it with all the plug sizes but i can still hear the snores and other noises. It doesn’t block out noises as good as a cheap set of disposable ear plugs from the convenience store. However, they are much more comfortable and do an okay job. For concerts, they were excellent with the grey attachment. I had no ringing ears after the show and could still hear the music perfectly or even better than without earplugs since the earplugs helped resuce distortion and the heavy bass.

I have sensitive ears, and I thought that these Sennheiser earplugs might be useful when I am exposed to loud noises such as a vaccuum cleaner or a blender. I have tried them on a couple of occasions, and all I can say is that they fit well, provided you fit them with the appropriate size ear tips, and they prevent the loudest sounds from affecting your ears without sacrificing clarity. I initially thought that they would block sounds, but these earplugs are really an ear protection system, and for that, I can say that they work perfectly well. It makes sense to reduce dangerous volumes but not muffle sounds.

They blocked out a lot. I love how they have 3 different sizes. I also liked how they stayed in my ears snugly. Loved ‘em.
