This is a guilty pleasure movie and I love watching it with friends. This is a good price and I had no issues with my purchase. Bestbuy is my go-to place for DVDs.

Jane Austin lived and wrote romantic novels during that time in English history when the rules of etiquette were stiflingly adhered to in the prim and proper social intercourse among eligible males and females of the day. It is surprising the English birth-rate did not stagnate and decline under their social system. Jane Austen does her 'magic' and relates the story of romance during this era with insight, historical accuracy and a good share of humor as the human instinct to find one's life companion cannot be deterred.

If you're a Jane Austen fan - Sense & Sensibility Is a great movie. Emma Thompson wrote the screen play and did an excellent job. All of the actors are great and this particular version of Sense & Sensibility really brings the book to life.

This is probably my favorite Love story of ALL time!!!...The characters...storyline...plot...perfectly sequenced into such a wonderful movie!!!...This is hands down a great movie to add to ones collection!!!

This movie was truly entertaining. The acting in this period film was fantastic. I highly recommend this DVD.

My wife loves this old classic story. It was worth the purchase just to see her smile. It's a chick flick, but well worth it when it brings happiness to your sweetheart.

This is a great movie to add to your collection for any of those jane austen fans out there or any lover of historically set movies. The english scenery is beautiful, the actors are well know, and the drama in this movie is captivating and suspensfull. Best of all, true to period romance type movies, it has a good ending. This is a movie meant to be watched over and over for years to come. Enjoy, you won't regret it!!

This is one of my 2 favorite adaptions of a Jane Austin novel. (The 1995 miniseries of Pride & Prejudice is the other.) Emma Thompson fully deserved her Oscar for the screenplay. The acting is top-notch and the film is a visual treat.

I love this movie. I have watched it several times and still think it's great! I've seen other versions but this one is the best buy hands down! It is a great movie for the Romantic.
