... Still pretty awesome! I love the first one and was eagerly awaiting this one. It's great, visually, but the story isn't as crazy good as the first. (Lots of questions afterward). For this who never played Heavenly Sword, I felt like this was more in line with that game. Which was an awesome game as well!

Sequel too short

I played the first Hellblade,a few years ago,it was released back in 2017.You play as Senua just like the original game, and she still has the voices in her head, and you can hear them all around you when you plug in your headphones, the graphics are just as good as the original, but some of the environments are very dark, and hard to see where you're going, gameplay is at it's peak, with evading, parrying, attacking enemies at every turn, along with the cinematics display a movie like quality, some of the puzzle solving is a bit easy. The length of the game is way too short,it will take less than 5-6 hours to complete. This game has very little replay value.I would wait until it's $30

Taking Hellblade to the next level

There are no other games quite like the Hellblade series. If you enjoyed the original, this is an amazing sequel. The combat is raw and hard hitting, the visuals are next level, and just like Senua's Sacrifice, it is truly a unique experience. If you explore/collect and really take it all in, it is around 7 to 8 hours. Senua's Saga is an excellent game, that I highly recommend.
