One of Mario Lanza’s wonderful movies.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I am a huge Lanza fan. I am thankful that we have the 6 movies he made. There is not enough video of Lanza because it was the fifties and he didn’t do very many concerts. So I listen to his CDs and watch his movies. Serenade really is a good movie, easy to watch and get paralyzed by Mario’s songs. I don’t care for Joan Fontaine, but the rest of the cast is wonderful. You can feel the attraction between Sara Montier and Lanza, especially in the rain scene. If you love Mario Lanza like I do, you will enjoy this dvd over and over again.
