Easy to put together, the pillows in the back are have just a small cushion but does the job. The fabric is a little rough on skin but overall is a nice sofa.
I would recommend this to a friend

Honestly, a cheap futon would be better.

Cheaply made, and mine came broken in the box. Had to return it for a 2nd one. The seat portion is comfortable enough until the cushions begin to slide forward, making the back cushions fall and exposing the cheap and flimsy back frame. Having to constantly fix the back and seat cushions gets old quick, but that wouldn't have been a deal breaker on its own.
What is unacceptable is the previously mentioned back frame. Mine seriously broke just pushing them into the base as instructed. It definitely won't hold up to daily life, let alone firmly hold the back cushions against your back. You HAVE to place the loveseat backside against a wall to avoid this.
