The platform slats are curved for some insane reason which causes them to snap if even a little weight is shifted too much in one spot on the bed. One of the slats literally broke the day after I assembled the bed, and Serta customer support was beyond useless. They denied accountability as they claimed they, as a literal furniture company, outsourced manufacturing to a different company (excuse me?) and couldnt even produce the information of where it exactly came from based on model information. Companies now get to rake money in hand over fist selling you fragile, unreliable landfill fodder and then providing you no support when their product inevitably fails you, even if it was hours after unboxing. What a boring dystopia.
